"Style, is it?" He asked, making me go silent.
I avoided eye contact, unsure how to respond to him anymore. I didn't understand how to feel about it anymore...it felt as if whatever that happened between us earlier didn't mean a thing to him.
He asked me to leave which was enough to let me know how he feels about me...how he feels about us. He...doesn't love me but then again...does that mean that kiss...also meant nothing to him...? Nothing at all? Because... it's completely opposite for me here. I am even unable to meet his gaze.
I could still feel my heart throbbing inside my chest. I can still feel the way he felt against me...I can still feel his touch lingering over my skin. Is it alright to feel this way? Whatever I am feeling, is it okay to feel? Despite knowing whatever we have between us is nothing but just adjustment?
My silence was palpable and it stretched on for a while. But then, his voice rang out again, "Take a leave today. We will be going out" Upon hearing that, my eyes snapped back to his, while my mind raced with questions.
"Go out?" I thought to myself, my gaze fixed on him as I watched him take a bite of his breakfast. As if sensing my eyes on him, he glanced at me sideways, "Do you have any questions?"
Do I have any questions? I have many but...will it be alright if I ask them? Will you answer them for me, Jungkook?
I shook my head looking away, feeling as if someone had placed a heavy stone over my chest. "No, I don't," I mumbled as my eyes fixed on my plate.
I can't bring myself up to ask any of them. I am scared to know what I already know. And I am more scared to hear it from...him.

As I stood beside him, I watched with reverence as Jungkook gently placed a bouquet of fresh lilies on his parents' tombs. When he said we are going out he meant this. He had brought me to see his...parents. This was my very first time meeting my in-laws.The delicate white petals seemed to glow in the soft light, it was like a poignant tribute to the loved ones he had lost. I remained silent, not wanting to break the sacred moment, as he bowed his head in respect.
When he finally stood up, his eyes never left the tombs. He moved beside me, his shoulder slightly touching mine, and together we gazed at the final resting place of his parents. The weight of the moment had settled upon me...I couldn't help but think how even after death, his parents remained side by side like a testament to the unbreakable bond.
I had heard when Jungkook was young his parents had gotten into a car accident that claimed his father's life instantly while his mother was severely injured but after knowing about her husband's death she couldn't take the shock and followed him into the afterlife.
The thought itself sent a shiver down my spine. I couldn't help but steal a glance at him from the corner of my eye. I never thought he would bring me here someday because he never bothered to do so before.
His eyes were closed, his face was serene, as he whispered a silent prayer to his parents. But I was happy...it felt as if he was finally accepting me. Slowly, I closed my eyes and joined him in his moment of reverence.
[End of y/n's pov][Jungkook's pov]:
As I opened my eyes, I expected to see y/n beside me, but she was nowhere to be found. My gaze wandered to the ground, and my eyes widened in surprise as I saw her kneeling before the tombstones, tenderly cleaning them with a handkerchief.A soft smile spread across my face as I watched her silently, mesmerized by her gentle gesture. My gaze drifted to my mother's tomb, and I whispered a silent confession, "She's just like you, Mother." I couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth.
