Aarohi...

It's been a week since I started living at Rudra's place. Despite my insistence that I could manage on my own, he wouldn't hear of it. My health has been improving significantly, and he made sure everyone knew to take care of me.

However, I haven't seen him for the past three days. Our project is nearing its end, so he's been swamped at the office. Meanwhile, I've been working from home with my boss's permission.

We've been immersed in this project for the last three months, and it's finally wrapping up. Once it's over, I'm planning to visit my parents. I need to tell them everything and get out of this toxic relationship with Rikshit. The thought of being free from that burden brings a sense of relief and anticipation.

Rudra's support has been unwavering. Even in his absence, I can feel his presence in the meticulous care he ensured I received. It's a strange but comforting feeling to be looked after so diligently. As I work from home, the quiet moments offer me time to reflect on everything that's happened. This break from the chaos has allowed me to gather my thoughts and preparing me for the conversations ahead.

Visiting my parents will be a turning point. I can already imagine the warmth of their embrace and the comfort of their understanding. It's been a long time since I felt genuinely safe and loved. Telling them about Rikshit will be hard, but it's a necessary step towards reclaiming my life. And who knows? Maybe this journey will open new doors and new beginnings.

For now, I focus on the final stretch of our project and the imminent trip home. The end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

Being with Rudra was both comforting and exciting at the same time. I don't know what this feeling is, but I never felt the same anticipation with Rikshit, even when he cared for me.

It's 6 PM now, and I've just finished wrapping up my work for the day. Feeling the need for a little break, I head to the kitchen for a much-needed cup of coffee. As I step into the kitchen area, I exchange a few pleasant words with Madhu Aunty and the others. Their warm smiles and friendly chatter always make me feel at home here.

Once my coffee is ready, I make my way to the garden area. The moment I step outside, I'm enveloped by the serene beauty of the garden. The vibrant colors of the flowers, the gentle rustling of the leaves in the evening breeze, and the soft golden glow of the setting sun create a perfect haven of peace and tranquility.

I find a cozy spot on a bench nestled between blooming roses and fragrant jasmine. Sipping my coffee, I take a deep breath and let the calming atmosphere wash over me. It's moments like these that make me appreciate the simple joys of life. The garden feels like a little slice of paradise, a place where I can unwind and gather my thoughts.

As I sit there, I reflect on the whirlwind of changes in my life recently. Moving in with Rudra, working on our project, and preparing to confront my past with Rikshit. It's been a lot to handle, but this peaceful garden offers a welcome respite. I close my eyes for a moment, savoring the warmth of the coffee and the soothing sounds of nature around me.
