Aarohi...
After all the confrontations, comforting my family was almost impossible. My mom was shattered, barely holding herself together.
My dad couldn't wrap his head around what had happened-how had things gone so far out of control? And my brother, he was seething with rage, ready to tear Rikshit apart.
It was a tiring day, one that drained every ounce of my strength. But eventually, they understood. The truth settled in, and with it came the realization that it was time to sever those fake strings once and for all.
As everyone retired to their respective rooms, I found myself drawn to the terrace, craving a moment with myself and needed some fresh air. I needed time to process everything, the emotions that had consumed the past two months. Everything had changed-old bonds were broken, and new ones were formed. And then there was Rudra. Rudra, who had unexpectedly become an important part of this roller-coaster journey and maybe my life too.
He had done more for me in the past few weeks than I could ever repay. He saved me when I didn't think I could be saved, cared for me when I felt unworthy, and understood me in ways no one else ever had.
Every gesture, word, and moment we shared left an indelible mark on me. It wasn't just that he was there; it was how he was there, with a presence that calmed my storms and a heart that held my shattered pieces with care.
Standing on that terrace, with the cool night breeze brushing against my skin, I realized just how much Rudra meant to me. He wasn't just a companion on this chaotic journey-he was the person that kept me from drifting away. And as the stars flickered above, I knew that whatever the future held, Rudra would be a part of it. Our paths were now intertwined, and those new strings we had woven together were real, strong, and unbreakable.
The cool breeze of the night was so pleasant to me as I stood on the terrace, lost in thought. The night was so peaceful. My mind was a whirlwind of emotions-confusion, anger, and a lingering sense of betrayal that I couldn't shake off.
"Aarohi, can we talk?" The sudden voice startled me, snapping me out of my thoughts. I turned to see my uncle standing in the doorway, with an unusual expression-one I hadn't seen before. Was it remorse? Guilt?
I straightened up, my emotions settling into a steely resolve. "Yes, I also want to talk to you," I replied, my voice calm but firm. I shifted my full attention towards him, my gaze steady and unwavering.
