Rudra…
I said good night to Aarohi and then left from there because I don't want her to see me in this way. The day started to replay in front of me as I walked towards my room. You know What It ignited my blood more to see Rikshit after years and that too with Aarohi. I came to my room and went over the events in Rikshit's office.
Flashback...
As soon as Aarohi left, Eklavya appeared, followed by four well-built bodyguards.
I turned to face him, and we shook hands, exchanging a confirming look. Eklavya, being himself, passed a weird smirk to Rikshit and said, “How are you, my long-lost friend? Long time no see.” I tried to suppress my laughter as Rikshit’s expression changed to one of pure shock, his face turning pale.
We brought Rikshit to one of my abandoned warehouses. We knocked him out during the journey, and we tied him to a chair, waiting for him to wake up.
“I told you not to go this far,” Eklavya remarked.
“Oh, c’mon, I know you’re enjoying this too,” I replied.
“Obviously. That’s why I brought them with me,” he said, pointing towards the bodyguards with a childish grin on his face.
I nodded in response, knowing that he was indeed my partner in crime. We had been like this since childhood, always supporting each other in everything, from escaping our homes for a bike trip to Ladakh to this kidnapping of Rikshit. We did everything together and faced the consequences together.
But today, I knew that nothing could go wrong and there would be no consequences.
As Rikshit began to regain consciousness, I leaned in closer. Eklavya and I shared a silent understanding. This moment had been a long time coming, and we were ready to confront it head-on.
“Welcome back to reality, Rikshit,” I said coldly as his eyes fluttered open.
“Why are you doing this to me?” he said in pleading tone.
"Oh seriously, now you’re asking this?" I spat out, my voice dripping with disdain. "I told you never to show your face to me again, but I guess destiny had its own plan. Maybe last time you didn’t receive your full karma, but today, I will make sure you do."
Saying this, I stood up and walked toward Rikshit, grabbing an iron rod from the ground. Eklavya remained silent, watching me intently from his seat.
His eyes followed my every move, but he didn't interfere. He knew this was something I needed to do myself.
Rikshit’s eyes widened in fear as he saw the iron rod glinting in the dim light. He struggled against the ropes binding him to the chair, but it was futile. His panic only fueled my determination.
