27. One Month Anniversary

I was hurt when I heard the kind of girl Rudra might want to date. For a while, I believed I wasn't good enough for him, and my mind spiraled into overthinking. Doubts filled me, making me question everything. But Rudra was there to handle me. He reassured me, making me realize that I am the best for him and that he loves only me. His words filled me with a new sense of confidence, and I promised myself I wouldn't let those negative thoughts take over again.

I'm will join Rudra's office next month, but for now, I'm enjoying my time off. Today is particularly special because I'm preparing for our one-month anniversary. I can hardly believe how much stronger our bond has grown in such a short time, and my love for him has only deepened.

I’ve decided to plan something special for this evening. First, I decorated the garden with the help of some of the staff. Twinkling fairy lights, delicate flower arrangements, and soft, romantic candles now adorn the space, creating a magical ambiance.

After that, I moved on to baking a cake, pouring all my love into each step. Dinner will be a delightful spread featuring red sauce pasta with garlic bread, and Rudra's favorite red wine will be the perfect complement. I hope he enjoys the meal and appreciates the effort I've put into making tonight perfect.

But dinner isn't the end of the surprises. I have another special plan for him afterward. I hope everything goes well and that tonight becomes a cherished memory for both of us.

Once everything was settled, I glanced at the clock—it was already 7 PM. Rudra would be here any moment now. I hurried to my room to change, my heart fluttering with excitement. I slipped into a simple yet elegant pink maxi dress that flowed softly around me. After a quick touch-up, I opted for light makeup to enhance my features and finished with a spritz of his favorite vanilla perfume. The scent always reminded me of him, and I knew he loved it too.

Just as I was adjusting a stray lock of hair, I heard the familiar sound of his car horn outside. My pulse quickened, and I rushed to the living room, a smile spreading across my face.

"Hey, baby! Welcome home," I greeted him warmly as he walked through the door, my eyes lighting up at the sight of him.

"Hey, sweetheart," he replied with a tender smile, wrapping me in a warm embrace. His arms felt like home, and I melted into him.

As he pulled back, he presented me with a beautiful bouquet of fresh, vibrant flowers. "Happy one-month anniversary," he added softly, his eyes twinkling with affection.

"Thank you," I beamed, taking in the fragrant aroma of the blossoms. "These are beautiful." I kissed him lightly on the cheek, feeling a surge of happiness. "Now, go and get changed. I have a wonderful surprise waiting for you," I teased, my eyes sparkling with excitement. I couldn't wait to see his reaction.

When he returned from changing, I greeted him with a mischievous grin and quickly tied a blindfold over his eyes. "Please, allow me the honor of guiding you, sir," I said playfully, taking his hand in mine.
