Chapter 15

Clove Kentwell POV

I walk around the school after the last bell rang, signaling the end of the school day. I'm looking for Cato. I keep walking until I get to the stairs. I look behind them and see Cato making out with Delly. Oh, I'm going to kill him. I run out of school and immediately text the group. Of course not with Cato.

Text Conversation

Clove: Guys, I need your help.
Finnick: What!
Katniss: With what?
Peeta: What is it
Clove: I saw Cato making out with Delly behind the stairs at school.
Finnick: I told you guys! I hate that girl!
Glimmer: Yeah, we know. We have heard you say that a million times.
Finnick: She's so mean to Annie!
Clove: Well, can the girls come to my house and the boys go to Cato's house?
Finnick: Annie and me can't.
Johanna: Ooooooo, what are you doing?
Finnick: I'm surprising Annie for Valentines Day.
Clove: Ok
Glimmer: I can
Johanna: Me too
Katniss: Count me in
Peeta: I'll go to his house
Gale: Me too
Marvel: Sounds good
Clove: Thanks, guys

Johanna Mason POV

I get to Clove's house, and all the girls are there except Annie. Clove is sitting on her bed, balwing her eyes out. Glimmer is sitting on the bed, comforting her. Katniss is on her phone and waves me over. I sit next to her and she starts talking. "Ok, so I was texting the boys, and we decided to TP Cato's house." Katniss says. "Yes! That's a great idea!" I say. "What are we doing?" Clove asks. "We are gonna TP Catos house!" I yell. "Ok...". Clove says and then starts crying. "Ok, so the boys are talking some sense into Cato, and they have a huge stash of toilet paper on the side of Cato's house. They said we can come right now." Katniss says. "Dang Katniss! You have this whole thing figured out." Glimmer says. We all walk to Cato's house and grab the toilet paper. We wrap it around the trees, and then we hear a splat. "What was that?" Clove asked. Then she looks at Katniss, and she's chucking eggs at his house. Good thing his parents aren't home because they would get really mad. We finish, and then we call Peeta to tell him to bring Cato downstairs. A few minutes later, they come down, and Cato screams. "What happened!"

Cato Hadley POV

Oh, I'm so mad! Who did this! I look around and see the group laughing so hard, I think a few of them are crying. "We did this because you cheated on Clove with Delly. She saw you guys making out!" Johanna yells. Dang it! They found out. I feel so bad for Clove right now. I walk to the front door and sit down. I cry because I feel so bad for Clove, and I know I hurt her a lot. After a few minutes, I hear someone. "Cato." Clove says. She sits next to me. "I'm so sorry, Clove. I-I can't believe I would do this to you. And especially on Valentines Day. I'm really sorry that I hurt you and I..." She cuts me off by pulling me into a kiss. We make out until we hear laughter.

Marvel Sanford POV

"Dang, I think you guys made up." I say, laughing. "More like made out." Johanna says, falling to the floor laughing. "Ok, why is this so funny?" Cato asks. "Because... I don't actually know." Katniss says. "Well, I'm happy you guys made up." Glimmer says. "I'm tired, guys. I'm going home." Clove says. "Bye!" Everyone says. Cato kisses her, and she walks to her house. Everyone else leaves, and I go home. I go up to my room and fall asleep.
