Chapter 17

Finnick Odair POV

We go up to my room, and Annie lays next to me on my bed. "That was so fun, Finn." She says. "Wanna watch a movie?" I ask. "Sure, but we have school tomorrow, so after that, I'm going home." She says. "Are you sure because you always end up falling asleep?" I ask. "But I want to stay with you longer." She pleads. "Ok, Ann, but if you fall asleep, I'm not taking you back to your house." I say. "Ok! I'm not falling asleep." She says confidently. I turn on the 4th Harry Potter movie and sit next to Annie. She lays her head on my leg, and before I know it, you guessed it, she's asleep. She looks so peaceful, and I lay down next to her. I watch the movie, and then I drift off to sleep.

Annie Cresta POV

I wake up and realize I'm still in Finnick's bed. He really wasn't joking about not taking me home. I get up and see Finnick walking down the stairs. He turns to look at me. "Up already, Ann?" He asks, waving me towards him. We walk down the stairs, and I smell pancakes. "My mom made pancakes. You can stay over until school if you want." He says, pulling out a chair for me. I sit down and we eat breakfast. "So I see you spent the night, Annie." Finnick's mom says. She doesn't really mind much because we spend the night at each other's houses often. "Yep." I say. She grabs the dishes off the table, and Finnick leads me upstairs. "Your mom brought a bag over last night with some clothes in it. You can go change into them and then we can go to school." Finnick says. I go change and then walk out. We walk down the stairs and go to school.

Clove Kentwell POV

We all sit down for lunch and start eating our food. "Guys, what are you all doing for spring break since it's almost here." Finnick says, taking a bite of his food. "I have to babysit my younger siblings during the break. It's not going to be fun." Gale says, pouting. "Marvel, Clove, Cato, and I are going to my lake house." "Whattttt!!! You didn't invite usssss." Finnick says sarcastically. "Well, I knew Annie and you were going somewhere together, and Gale would be babysitting, and I didn't know about Katniss, Peeta, and Johanna. Did you guys want to come?" Glimmer asks. "Oh no, it's fine. Katniss' family invited me to go to a cabin in Washington." Peeta says. "I'm probably just staying here, being bored, and I don't really want to go with two couples being all lovey dovey the whole trip." Johanna says. Cato stares her down. We all laugh, including Cato. "Johanna, when I'm not babysitting, would you want to hang out?" Gale asks. "Sure!" Johanna says. We all squeal, and they just glare at us. I hearop someone clear their throat, and I look over and see Delly standing on a table. "Hello, students of Panem High! I would like to be a great person by telling Finnick Odair and Clvoe Kentwell something." I hear her whisper something to herself and slap her face. "Ok, this is too formal. So Finny, you girlfriend, well now ex- girlfriend and by the way I will date you, cheated on you with Max." Everyone gasps. I see Finnick turn to Annie and then walk out of the lunchroom. Annie follows him, and I'm scared for what she's going to say next. "Oh and next Clove. Cato cheated on you with Sophia. I run out of the lunch room to see Finnick, Max, Sophia, Walker, and Kinzley. I see Annie run away, and Cato tries to talk to me, but I push him away. Walker and Sophia are yelling at each other. Kinzley and Max are yelling at each other. I run over to Finnick to see what's happening.

Ha cliffhanger! What is happening in this story. They are literally all fighting. What do you guys think about Jale. Do you think they will work out?
