Chapter 19

Peeta Mellark POV

We all go to Finnick's house for a sleepover. Our goal tonight is to make Gale and Johanna confess their crush. They have both said multiple times they don't have crushes, but we all doubt that. I walk up to the door with Katniss, and she knocks on the door. Finnick opens it, and we hear screaming in the basement. "What's that all about?" I ask. "Sophia made up a game, and everyone is going crazy." He says. He lets us in, and we go downstairs. Everyone is smacking people with pillows, and people are falling on the ground laughing. "Guys, since Johanna and Gale aren't here yet, let's figure out how we will get them to confess their love for each other." Finnick says, making kissy faces. We all laugh and start talking. "So maybe we should play Truth or Dare." Walker suggests. "Bro, it's Truth Odair!" Finnick yells. "And we can target them." Clove says. "And we can set them up together. Make them be together all night long." Kinzley says. Then we hear a knock at the door. "Ok, everyone, remember the plan, I'll get the door." Finnick says. He runs up the stairs, and we continue our pillow fight. Max hits Kinzley with a pillow and knocks her over, and she screams. Sophia runs over to Max and hits him over and over with the pillow until he falls over. Then she continues to hit him and then stops. "Do. Not. Hurt. My. Bestie!" She says, hitting him with the pillow each time. Kinzley and Sophia start laughing, and Max just rolls his eyes. Finnick comes running down the stairs with Gale and Johanna, and Sophia smacks Gale with her pillow. Johanna yanks the pillow from Sophia and starts hitting her with it. Kinzley and Walker jump on front of Johanna but end up getting hit and falling over. I jump up and separate the four, and we all sit down in a circle.

Johanna Mason POV

"Ok, so since this game is called Truth Odair, I'm going to go first." Finnick says. "Hey! I want to!" Clove yells. "Yeah, let Clover go first!" Cato says. Clove glares at Cato for calling her that. Finnick side eyes the two and turns towards Gale. "Truth Odair, Gale." He says with a serious face. Kinzley and Sophia burst out laughing. "Truth." Gale says, matching Finnick's expression. Kinzley and Sophia start mimicking them, and Finnick glares at them. "Who is your crush?" Finnick says, getting excited. I hope he says my name. I have had a crush on Gale for a few months now, and I really want to date him. But I feel like he likes Katniss, but he wouldn't have a chance with her because her heart belongs to Peeta. "Um... it's." He says, squirming in his spot. "Cough it up, Gale!" I yell. "Ooh, someone's excited." Sophia says, laughing. I get up to attack her, but Walker pushes me out of the way. "Bro, I could've handled her myself." Sophia says, pouting. "It's-It 's, Johanna!" He finally says. "I KNEW IT! I knew it! I knew it!" Finnick says, doing a happy dance. Everyone is making kissy faces at us, and I blush. And then I watch as Sophia and Kinzley slam Gale's into my face. He just kissed me! Everyone laughs, and both Gale and I laugh, too. "Good job, Sophia and Kinzley!" Finnick says, high fiving them. We continue our game of Truth Odair.

Hey guys! I updated today! I'm so proud of myself. Omg I can't believe that my school starts next Friday. And why on a Friday. Ugh, I'm really scared for school. I'm going to be super busy during the school year with school, dance, piano, and voice lessons, but I will still try to update. Peace Peeps!
