As the man approached, the group started to become uneasy as he had a stern look on his face. Kitayuu gulped as he feared that it might be someone like Blade hunting him down until upon coming closer, he gave a friendly smile and held out his hand, “Pleased to meet you, my name is Zhongli”
Everyone breathed a huge sigh of relief as they realised that this person was wearing the traditional Liyue clothing and harboured no ill intentions. Zhongli was a tall man standing well over 6 feet, with dark brown hair and orange eyes.
Kitayuu was the first to approach him and shake his hand, “Pleased to meet you too I’m-“
Zhongli; “Kai Kitayuu, no introductions needed. You’re well known around Teyvat.”
Kitayuu gave a nervous laugh, “hehe yeah, I guess I am quite the celebrity”
Zhongli looked up as he saw Ayaka and Bennet approaching as well.
“I’m Ayaka”
“And I’m Bennet!”
Zhongli gave them a smile and nodded, “So I assume you guys are the group from the academy taking commissions?”
Kitayuu nodded, “Sure are, in fact we just came fresh out of a Hilichurl camp. I must say, it wasn’t easy though.”
Zhongli chuckled, “You’ll get used to it, don't worry, there’s also some other commissions that you can do that don’t involve combat.”
As everyone was around Zhongli talking to him, Raiden remained where he was and watched from a distance. He started feeling uneasy and wasn’t sure what was going on, ‘Why is my head starting to spin…’
He put one hand on his head as his vision started blurring slightly and looked up at the man, ‘This aura…’
“It’s familiar…”
“But I just can’t put my finger on it…”
