Reina's purple eyes widened hearing what the nobleman said to her. "R-Really?! T-That's good to hear!"

"As much as I would love to take you with us back to the middle sector with what we are here for there will not be enough room for you. So you must take the long way to do so I came here to deliver the news to you and to help you get your journey started. Knowing that my son has befriended you makes me happy, in time you two may end up meeting once more. When that time comes I hope that you two will keep the friendly bond you two have."

"As do I. I enjoy being friends with your son sir." Reina said with a smile

Martin soon came back with papers and the Nobleman signed the papers before placing his stamp of approval on it "Now you better take good care of this woman, she is the princess of this kingdom. I am here as a proxy for the king and queen. You will be a better person to our princess or when she gets older she can demote you for your behavior towards her."

Martin was rather quick to nod his head as he looked at the elder male, he then looked at Reina. "Miss, how much of this will you be placing in your account. forty nine thousand. I'll be keeping a thousand of it out to help the small family that has taken me in for the moment."

"Very well then. Let me get things sorted for you miss." Martin said before he took the bags one by one into the back before sliding to her a card that had her name on it as well as a twelve digit number on it. She took it and looked at the nobleman. "I've never seen anything like this before-What am I to do with this sir?"

"Since you are a mere child Chief Zayne will be holding onto it until you are old enough to take care of something this important." The nobleman said taking the card from her hand "Going into any shop with that card will allow you to purchase whatever you wish. The money will then go from this bank to wherever you purchase items. There is a magical system that transfers the money from one bank to any store within the kingdom."

"Oh I see. Okay then." She said with a nod of her head

Martin then gave her a small pouch. "And here is the thousand you wished to keep on hand ma'am."

She took it with a smile. "Thank yous." She said before she gave it to Zayne. "This is for you and your family Mr. Zayne, Thank you very much for taking good care of me."

Zayne smiled and patted the top of her head taking the pouch from her as he did so. "You're welcome Princess. It's an honor to have you here and to be able to take care of you as I am." He said with a smile

Reina then left out with Syrus as the adults talked, she wanted to spend as much time as she could with her friend. She ended up finding out the reason the caravan was surrounded was because he had just learnt how to control magic. But he didn't have the abilities she had to be able to cast anything. She didn't know how to help him since she did everything merely on instinct. But it didn't stop either one of them from spending time with one another.

Xavier watched the duo from afar and was rather jealous that someone else had the princesses attention. He had watched over her for days, and not once did she ever thought to thank him. He slowly began to hate the young princess for her simple mindedness, he hated that she was as soft and sweet as she was. He hated that she was so friendly towards other people-what about him? What about what he had done to protect her when they first left out together? Didn't that mean anything to her?

For the next few days Xavier had to watch the duo work and play together which just made him rather salty towards the young brunette female. It wasn't until the noble family finally left that Reina's attention went back to him once more. But at that time he was already seething with hatred for the young princess, he didn't want to protect her anymore. He didn't want anything to do with her anymore.

Amy and Zayne ended up raising the two of them until Xavier was eighteen and Reina was Sixteen which was when Zayne had given her back her card. It was then that the two of them left out together to go to the main kingdom. The travel to the main kingdom took them many days, Reina knew that she'd have to stay close to Xavier-even if for the last six years he had basically kept her at arms length from him. She didn't know what his deal was, but she knew at some point he'd have to talk to her.

But he didn't, for months the two of them would walk in silence. He would never watch over her while she slept and a few times he would just leave her behind and never wake her up. She would have to run just to find him and keep up with him. For an entire year it happened until one time Xavier had left her behind he was surrounded by bandits. More than a few of them had bows and arrows. He fought them off the best that he could with his sword until he was almost hit with an arrow.

He was waiting to be hit by the arrow when he didn't feel anything. He opened his eyes to see Reina fighting the bandits off one by one only to for him to realize that while she was fighting the bandits off one of the arrows she had brushed off bruised her calf. Once they were dead she looked at him with a huff. "Why the hell do you do this?! Do you want to die before you take your father's place Xavier?!" Reina huffed out angered

Xavier fell to the ground as he dropped his sword, he teared up as he placed his hands over his face. "Why...Why did you save me like that for?" He spoke through his sobs
