Reina averted her eyes flustered as she sat up. "N-No...Not really. J-Just...I...I've never slept in the same room let alone same bed as a male before." She said nervously
He turned himself fully to look at her before he crawled over so his upper half was towering over her making her look up at him with her face bright red seeing just how close he was to her. He then cupped her face in his hand as he moved closer to her.
"You're going to need to get used to me being this close to you Princess, if we are to be courted together in my kingdom my parents will be forcing you to sleep in the same bed as me. Which means you will need to get used to this. Now don't you worry about a thing, I'm a man of my word to you. I will not touch you until we are wed, but that doesn't mean that I won't have you in my arms while we sleep. You're going to have to get used to sleeping and waking in my arms."
"O...Okay. I...I will attempt to. I...I must ask you this though. The two women that went behind your back with your brothers. They had to sleep beside you as well yes?"
"Mhm, they did princess. It is because they had to that I went looking for them after they had said they'd be retiring for the night only to not see them in my chambers. I should have known better since they both told me that I wasn't the first to court them that they would do what they had."
"I...I see. Y-You are the first and only to wish to do so with me Sylus, I feel very unnerving about this situation."
He pressed his forehead against hers. "I can assure you that you will be safe and untouched by me. I just wish to hold you in my arms, will you allow me that much Princess? Especially, after what had happened tonight?"
Reina hadn't realized with what had happened to her earlier that night that he had feared losing her, Reina looked into his eyes seeing just how upset he looked talking about what had almost happened with her. She placed her hand over his that was on her cheek. "I hadn't realized that I meant so much to you Prince Sylus, that you had gained such a connection to me in the last week that we've been around one another. Since that happens to be the case, I will indulge you the request that you have. At least for the night."
He smiled hearing what she said and gave her a soft kiss on the lips. "Thank you." He spoke softly to her before he lied beside her and pulled her rather close to him
She shut her eyes and enjoyed hearing the sound of his heart beat against her ear as she felt his arms wrap around her tightly. It was then silent between the two of them as they fell asleep, by morning Reina woke up on her side and Sylus was nowhere to be found in the room. Confused she got up and got her boots on, she left the inn only to have Raymond go up to her shaking his head.
"Princess...just what the hell happened last night between you two?"
Reina was confused "What do you mean?"
"Prince Sylus left hours ago, saying that he had to go to your parents about an urgent matter. He told me to tell you that he'd meet you there. What did you do?"
"N-Nothing...A-At least I don't think I did anything wrong. We were stuck in the same room last night and it was the first time he and I slept in the same bed together. We cuddled and that's it."
Raymond raised an eyebrow at her for a moment before he let out a sigh "Good grief that prince...He can't even keep himself calm around you. Okay I can't fault you there. Let me take you back to your parents. It'll be easier with an escort than going there on your own."
"Is Marco going to be alright with that?"
"Count Marco and his children left out last night really late. They didn't even stay the night like they were supposed to. I was told to stay here to protect you and that prince you had around you. But since he chose to go off on his own my duty is to you since you are from this kingdom."
"Alright then Raymond. Let's get going."
He nodded his head and smiled "Alright then."
They took the carriage back to the castle, when they did she thanked Raymond before she went to see her parents and siblings. As she got to the throne room her siblings sneered at her seeing that she had returned. Her parents smiled seeing her.
"Welcome back home sweetie." Her father said happily
"Thank you father."
"It seems like you've made quiet the impression on Crown Prince Sylus." He said with a smile
Reina frowned hearing about the prince, but didn't say a word about it. Her father realized that something was wrong and looked at her sadly-his smile fading from his face.
"Daughter what is wrong?"
"I spent most of his two weeks out and about with him-just last night he and I ended up being forced to sleep in the same bed together. We did nothing too bad-he just held onto me while we slept since I almost died last night...and when I woke up, he wasn't there. I don't understand...did I do something wrong to make him leave me where I was on my own?" Reina asked sadly
Her father let out a small chuckle before he shook his head. "No-no daughter you've done nothing wrong. But he has asked me more than a few questions about you dear daughter. I have accepted to let you go live the life that you wish. I will not cage you here if this is not where you feel welcomed."
"It is not-especially with the ungrateful people you have sitting up there with you. Speaking of which...Axe, god of Magic I call to thee!"
Within minutes a large neon glowing dragon made it's way into the thrown room freaking people out as Reina hugged the dragon. "The time has come friend."
Reina then looked at her parents. "Elias, Justin, Stella and Morgana have abused their magical powers too many times. This dragon is the god of magic. It was him that chose me as his chosen peace keeper. To be strong and smart as I am. He has chosen to take back what he has given to the four I mentioned. Not to mention I personally have a vendetta against all four of them."
"Speak daughter what have they done?" The king asked
