After dinner Viven retired for the night as the couple stayed up a bit more due to Sylus wishing to talk to her. Reina had no idea what he wanted to talk to her about as the two of them sat in the large commute area, they sat across from one another in silence for a moment before Sylus looked at her seriously.

"It's almost been a week princess and the amount of involvement that you've had in your kingdom is much more than I've ever seen in any princess. When the two weeks is up for me being here I will be taking you from this kingdom and back to my own. When that happens I want you to understand that you first will see just how much more advance my kingdom is to this one. Secondly the worry of monsters isn't as high, we barely see them and lastly-my siblings. I have two younger brothers-Hyun and Aiden. They are twenty one and eighteen. They will prey on you, I need you to keep a stern back with them and turn them down by any means."

"May I inquire why your siblings are like that?"

"Idiots, that's all they are. Sex addicted idiots. They will try to do everything they can to ruin you before I get anywhere close to you."

"And why would they do that for?"

He smiled hearing her question him, he liked the fact that she wanted to know so much about his family and why he was informing her about it all. He leaned against the side of the couch and looked her in the eyes. "I'm more than a bit old fashion princess, I refuse to touch the woman I am courting until after we are wed. I see no reason to do so till then."

"That's understandable. I can go along with that but why would your brothers do something so horrible to women that you are interested in and what have they done in the past to make you know and understand that it happens?"

"Well, there was two women I tried to court. The first swooned over my younger brothers going between them-I found the three of them sleeping together the night before I was going to propose to her. She had been tainted by them and I did not wish for anyone to be around me that have been tainted by them. The second purposefully went to my brothers after being provoked so much. I found that woman on top of Hyun. It made me realize that those women had no restraint within themselves. That if I was to open myself up to a woman they must understand my reasoning for what I do."

"I can understand that, those women obviously didn't truly care for you Sylus. As for myself I've never known what it is like to be loved. That is a foreign thing for me. So the court ship between the two of us will be the first and only that I will be a part of. Anything you do will be a first to me. In every way possible I am pure and ignorant." Reina stated placing a hand on her chest where her heart was

He sat up straight hearing what she said "Truly? I would have thought the generals family would have at least shown you some type of compassion."

Reina shook her head "I was a mere chore to them-that is all I've ever been to Sir Zayne, Lady Amy and their ignorant arse of a son Xavier. I was a princess who was taken in for them to train and teach. I wasn't given the love and compassion Sir Zayne and Lady Amy gave their son." Reina said sadly

Sylus could tell by her tone and the words she spoke she hadn't ever had anyone be compassionate towards her, which made sense as to why she had acted how she had when he had hugged her the night they met. He got up from where he was and sat beside her, he pulled her into his chest which made her look up at him stunned. "S-Sylus?"

"It is such a pity that you've had to deal with the lack of compassion within your life Reina, you are such a beautiful young maiden, to think someone so smart and power could have lived such a cold and harsh life yet still be so kind as you have been. You truly are a rare sight to see Princess."

She felt her face flare up flustered hearing what he said to her. "I act how I do because I don't wish my life onto others. I became a chore that the Neveil family never wanted. Many nights I heard the couple fight and argue about just sending me to the middle section with the count just so they didn't have to deal with me anymore. They act how they do just so they didn't get scolded for treating me harshly. My kingdom truly does not need me after what I will be doing for it."

"May I inquire to you why you wish to do so much for a kingdom that has hurt you so badly?"

"Regret and Karma, in time when I am gone from this place it will all crumble due to my idiot elder brother Elias. When that happens they are going to wish they were better to me, that I still had the heart to come back here. The only reason I'd ever come back is to see Countess Viven marry my friend Syrus. Otherwise I see no reason for me to be here again. I do not wish to have those who are close to me to have no contact with me. Countess Viven and Syrus have done nothing to me to make me lose contact with them."

"I see, so you are showing kindness to those who don't deserve it so they feel the guilt of what will happen once you are gone and have no reason to return."

She nodded her head, "Mhm, exactly."

"You are turning out to be a rather interesting young lady Princess and I mean that sincerely." He said with a smile
