Sylus raised an eyebrow at the princess "Oh? I am curious to know why your guard said that I made you cry earlier."

Reina sat beside him and held his hands within hers. "I've thought a lot about how you've spent so much time with me, how you've protected me so much over the last week and half. What really made me justify what I'm about to say is what happened last night in Yariya. When I had almost died no thanks to those useless brats that Count Marco have. The fact that you felt so compassionate about me...it...It made me feel like I finally found someone who'd truly care about me not just because of my title but because they saw the real me."

Sylus frowned a bit hearing her bring up the fact that she almost died the night before. He squeezed her hands gently, letting her know that he'll be there for her. Reina took a deep breath before she smiled and looked up at him in the eyes.

"Sylus...I mean these words with all of my heart. I love you." Reina said with a sincere smile on her face

Sylus looked at her with widened eyes hearing the last three words she spoke, he got up taking his hands from her. "Princess, you really should think before you speak such words to someone."

Reina instantly got angered and got up. "If you cannot share the same feelings then see yourself back home without me! I will stay here and do what I must to my kingdom without someone with me!" She said irate before she looked at Xavier "Let's go, I have no time for someone who does not share what I feel for them."

"Of course Princess." Xavier said with a nod of his head before he left behind her

Sylus called out to her but she ignored him as she went to see her parents. She found her parents in the throne room once more, so she went up to them and bowed her head. "Mother-father."

"Reina! It's good to see you out of the library. What can we do for you?"

"Send that ungrateful prince back home!" Reina said annoyed

The two of them looked confused "Really? I thought you two were hitting it off rather well?" Her father asked confused

"I genuinely spoke words of love to him only for him to decline them, saying that I should think before I speak them to someone. I have thought about it for the last week or so I have thought rather hard about the fact that he had been around me for so long. I did not wish to be around anyone else-he had made me feel like he could have easily been the one to be the only to court me. But obviously his empty words are merely that. If someone like him will decline being with me-a woman of strength and intelligence then there is no hope for that prince." She said sadly

"Do you truly feel such strongly about Prince Sylus?" Her mother asked

She broke down crying and nodded her head. "But he does not feel the same! If someone like him cannot do something like care and love me, then no one can. I've never felt the way I do about him to anyone else before! And he just rejected me out of fear. I refuse to see and talk with the prince anymore. I will be in the library once more with my guard till late tonight. Please let me know when that disgraceful prince is gone from our kingdom." She said before she sniffled and wiped her eyes "I will take my leave now."

The duo left out together and went back to the library where Reina hugged her legs up to her knees. "I hate this feeling...Is this what a heartbreak feels like?" She asked sadly

"I wouldn't know princess, I've never had the pleasure of falling in love with someone and having my heart broken like you have." Xavier said sadly shaking his head "that dude is a serious bastard for doing what he had. He says so much shit to you and for what? Just to reject you when you say you love him? Tch, some prince he is."

"I'm never opening my heart like that again." She said shaking her head "This...this hurts a lot."

"I can only imagine Reina." Xavier said before he walked up to her "In time your heart will heal."

"When that happens it will be too cold to have anyone try to get close to it again." She said sadly

At that time the door to the library opened, both of them looked to the door only to see Sylus at the doorway with a regretful look upon his face. Xavier went in front of Reina with a glare on his face. "Reina has nothing more to say to you, Leave."

"Please allow me to speak..at least this one last time." He said sadly

Xavier looked at Reina. "Princess?"

"I have nothing more to say to him, he can say all the words that he wishes. His actions spoke more than anything he might say to me now."

Xavier moved to the side. "Speak if you wish, but I doubt you'll get anything from her."

Sylus came into the room and he shut the door behind him, he then went up to her speaking with regret within each word he spoke to her. "Princess Reina, I apologize for how I acted towards you earlier this evening. I did not mean for my actions to seem like I was rejecting you. I never meant for that to be what I meant when I asked you what I had. I merely wished to confirm with you what you said to me was truly what you felt for me. I never meant to make you go to your parents asking them to have them make me leave without you. Please, allow me to have you in my life Princess."

Reina averted her eyes, she refused to speak anything towards him after his actions earlier that night. Xavier knew what had happened severely hurt Reina and let out a sigh before he looked at the white haired prince. "I do believe the princess isn't speaking with you since you haven't said the words she had first spoken to you. You spoke earlier about being her first everything-yet those words haven't left your lips as they had her. If you wish for her to speak or even look at you. I suggest you mean the words you speak to go along with your body language."
