When Syrus had taken Reina to his families estate her purple eyes widened in shock seeing how big the estate was. "Holy cow this place is big!"

"If you think this place is big your jaw is going to drop seeing where you're supposed to have been raised." Syrus said with an amused chuckle

The two of them went inside the estates gates before he allowed her to go in first. Once they went in Reina looked around in awe. "Wow...it's so spacious. How do you not get lost in this place Syrus?" She asked as she looked to the younger male

"When I was a child I did get lost...many times. Until I was a preteen I was always escorted places by the maids." He said sheepishly

She giggled hearing him speak "That must have been tough huh?"

"Yeah...just a bit." He said scratching the side of his face "We should let my dad that you are here. He would be glad to see you in the flesh Reina."

She nodded her head and smiled at him. "Okay sure."

When they got further into the estate a brunette male came out of a room leaning against a pillar. "So, you finally managed to get her huh? About damn time dipshit."

"Shut up Nile, at least I am wanted by someone you have tried and failed four times with nobles and with one of the princesses siblings. At this rate you're never going to be with anyone." Syrus said unamused

Nile looked at Reina "You're single right? Why don't we try to be-"

"Denied, I don't date jerks and you Nile-are a jerk." Reina said placing her hand up before she looked at Syrus "Where is your father?"

Syrus couldn't help but chuckle hearing her cut off his brother before he answered her question. "My father is down the hall his office room should be open."

"Thank you Syrus you are a good friend." She said with a smile before she parted from his side

When she did she could hear the two brothers arguing with one another-but said nothing about it. She only made her way down the hall until she got to the opened door room. When she had gotten to the office the elder male had looked up and got up smiling seeing her. "Princess! Good you made it here safely! Welcome to my home, I apologize for not being at the front to welcome you. I have been working on the numbers for your travel from Kirka to here. I must ask, why is Xavier's number so low?"

She let out a sigh as she shut her eyes before she opened them and looked at the elder male sadly "He has crappy communication skills, he had been jealous of the friendship that I have with your youngest son. He saw no reason for me to be friends with his son and instead of talking to me about it he chose to brood about it for years. It wasn't until I ended up getting hurt by a stupid bandit arrow that he stopped being an arse and worked with me to fight off monsters. I still ended up doing night watch for him even with a wounded leg. I've barely slept in the last few years sir."

The elder male shook his head disapprovingly "Goodness me that boy...Well if that's the case I will be sure a letter is sent to his father about this situation. Allow me to escort you to a room that has been ready for you Princess. I want to be sure you get there safely and don't end up getting lost."

Reina nodded her head. "Yes sir, I understand."

The two of them walked past the two males arguing, their father ignored the banter between the two children as he looked down at Reina. "Princess, now that you are here-I wish to place this out there for you. You will be required to find someone who you fancy and court them."

While the elder noble had spoken the two males stopped arguing and followed after their father, Reina looked at the elder male confused. "Court them? What do you mean by that sir?"

"You will need to show face with the male of your choosing, it will then be known that the male you chose is going to be your prince in waiting. I can assure you that anyone in the noble sector will just use you. Your best bet would be someone from the outer villages."

She raised an eyebrow at the elder male. "Aren't those in the outer villages known as the poorest though?"

"True they are, but they are also known as those who had served their time protecting those who are in noble or crown position. May I suggest someone who isn't a coward like the male you came here with." The nobleman suggested

Reina was in thought before she looked up at the elder male. "I will think about it, as of now...I have no interest in finding a courting mate. I have no way of knowing what 'love' is or what would be 'just' for me to do relationship wise. My life has been twisted and dark since I was kidnapped from my family."

"I'm aware of that princess. In time you will find someone who will show you what it means to be loved and cared for. In time I hope you will become happy and become a strong and independent queen ruling with the knowledge that you have gained over the years from living in the outer villages as you have."

By the time he finished speaking they had gotten up the stairs and to a room on the left wing of the estate. He had opened the door and smiled at her. "For now, rest. You deserve it after going through so much. You will be awaken when it is time for you to meet your parents."

Reina bowed her head "thank you sir, I will rest then. I will see you this evening then." She said before she went into the room and closed it behind her.

Reina took her shoes off and let out a sigh of relief knowing that she wouldn't have to sleep with her boots on anymore. She took her hair down before she fell asleep rather quickly on the soft bed knowing that she was safe within the stone walls of the estate she was in.
