After xavier had placed his things into her room, she showed him around the castle so he could have a better idea of where his father once worked. Xavier stayed at her side the entire time she spoke to him, he enjoyed seeing her smile instead of crying like she had earlier. While they walked they had passed by a white haired male with blue eyes, the male had held onto Reina's arm tightly. "Princess...We need to talk."

Xavier placed his hand over the males wrist taking it off of her. "Do not touch her if she doesn't want to be touched. If you wish to talk to her that's fine but do not touch her!"

"And who the hell are you?" The male asked annoyed

"I'm her guard knight Xavier. And you?"

"Prince Sylus. I've been accompanying the princess on her travels for the last week and a half."

Xavier's green eyes narrowed as he placed Reina behind him. "So you're the asshole who made her cry her eyes out to me earlier!"

Sylus looked taken back hearing what the guard said "What the hell do you mean I made her cry? I've done nothing or said nothing to her all day."

"Bull shit! Do you think before you say or do anything towards a princess you wish to court?!" Xavier growled out annoyed

Sylus looked at the guard confused and said nothing, Xavier let out a sigh before he crossed his arms. "The night before you inquired the princess to sleep close to you even though she had told you that she was nervous about being close to you. You insisted that she slept close to you-and for what?! To have her wake up without you beside her, without a word to her! Do you have any idea what thoughts you've made the princess have because you chose to be a coward about your own damn feelings?!"

Sylus looked to Reina who chose to hide herself even more behind Xavier holding onto Xavier's shirt tightly. "Princess...have I made you upset with me?"

Xavier took his sword out and placed it at Sylus's neck. "I'm talking to you-do not address MY Princess!" He growled out angered "Princess Reina is a very innocent woman, Within the week and half you've been around her I can assume she's told you that yes?"

Sylus let out a sigh and shut his eyes before he looked at Xavier "She had."

"Then it should be no shock to you that the young princess would feel highly judged by someone who she ended up bonding with for such a long time with. She trusted you with her by having her guard down around you-yet you chose to pay her kindness and trust like it was nothing. It was you who took her out of the zone of comfort she knew, it was you that then crushed her heart and mind like it was nothing. Leaving nothing behind as a reassurance to the princess that you still cared at least a little bit about her! Being back here she's let her mind fall to a dark place. A dark place that makes her feel like she is unattractive and unwanted by you." Xavier growled out angered

Sylus let out another sigh before he took the sword from his neck. "There was a reason I left her where I had earlier this morning. I have a no touching woman rule till marriage. Having her so close to me almost made me break that rule. I do find her attractive, I do want her beside me. It is what I wish to talk to her about."

"Princess, this is your call. What do you want to do?" Xavier asked looking back to Reina.

"I'll talk but in an open area. I do not want the conversation to be in a private area where there won't be people listening to what is being said." She spoke softly to him

Xavier nodded his head before he looked at Sylus "Did you hear her?"

"I did, I've been here longer than her. I know just the place. I've seen it used by her disgraceful elder time to time." Sylus said before he took the duo to an open area that had two  large bench like couches. Reina sat across from Sylus as Xavier stood behind Reina with his hand on his sword at his side.  Xavier didn't trust Sylus at all.

When the duo sat down Sylus crossed his arms as he looked at the young princess. "Tell me Princess-what makes you think so lowly of me?"

"Just as my guard tell you. You have pushed and pressured me out of a zone of comfort for myself just to leave me for dead in an outer village. I had to hear from Raymond that you had left the village instead of you telling me that you would leave me there on my own. Last night you had given me hope that you cared much about me-then this morning it shattered. It is completely on you that things happened how they had. You shouldn't have forced me to be so close to you if you couldn't keep yourself together." Reina said sadly

"Tell me Princess...honestly, have I lost you?"

"I don't know...do you plan on leaving me on my own like you had this morning, from here on out if you are to court me?" Reina inquired as she looked down at her hands

Sylus was quiet as he thought about what she said, it was obvious to him why her guard was so angered at him. He had broken the spirit of the young princess, she placed so much trust in him...and for what? For him to shatter it the moment he gets a hard on by her sleeping beside him on his request? It wasn't fair to her, it wasn't fair that he had chosen to do what he had.

"Princess, I apologize greatly for what I've done to you. I never should have left you like I had. I should have stayed there and that is on me. Tell me do you understand fully why I had left?"

Reina shook her head no as she looked at him sadly.

He leaned forward and smiled sadly at her. "I first wish to place out there that I enjoyed having you in my arms last night, you are the first female that I've slept contently with in my arms like that. As I've gotten to know you princess, I've found myself being very attracted to you, you are very beautiful. I must say you are the most beautiful young princess I've ever encountered let alone the bravest. Not just for coming up to me when you had, but all of the things I've seen you do. What happened last night was all me, I will accept all responsibility for it-but you my dearest princess, are too damn attractive for your own good. I had left when I had to keep myself from breaking my only rule when courting women. I don't want to do anything towards you that would make you too uncomfortable around me. That's why I left, That's why you didn't see me this morning."

It took Reina a few minutes after he spoke to understand what he said to her, her eyes widened as she looked at him flustered as she covered her mouth with her hands. As Sylus saw that she was finally using her head he smiled at her.

"I want you more than I can place into words, courting you is going to be so damn fucking hard for me to do when you are so damn beautiful. And since I'm the first to ever court you I want to be the only one to do so and be your very first everything. I want to have all of your love and attention, if you allow me to Princess." Sylus said as he placed a hand on his chest

She teared up hearing what he said before she got up and went around the table, she then hugged him tightly nuzzling her head against his chest. "You have not lost me, I still wish to be at your side Prince Sylus. I just wished you would have communicated with me that is all."

Sylus let out a relieved sigh hearing her speak, he wrapped his arms around her waist and held her close to him. "I'm glad to hear I haven't lost you, in the future I promise I will communicate with you Princess."

"Good, I'm glad to hear that." Reina said as she looked up at him "I must confess something to you as to why my guard had said I had cried earlier."
