Piolo's POV

Ilang oras matapos naming maibalik si Regine sa kwarto niya ay ipinatawag kami ng doctor sa office nito.

Cacai, Ogie and I were there. Wala na siyang nagawa kahit ayaw niya ako dun. The doctor requested me to be there after seeing Regine's reaction when seeing me.

"Maupo ho kayo." The doctor said as soon as he saw us. Umupo kami sa harap niya. We made ourselves comfortable first before he started.

"Just tell us already. Sabihin mo na kung anong sasabihin mo para maka-alis na kami at maiuwi ko na si Regine." Ogie said impatiently as he tapped his foot on the tiled floor. The doctor took out some papers galing sa right side drawer ng table niya. He glanced at us before reading what the paper was.

"Selective Amnesia." Sabi nito kaya napakunot ang nuo naming lahat. "What do you mean doc?" Cacai said. The doctor took a deep breath and glanced at us once again befoe facing the paper. 

"After some thorough examinations, wala namang fatal injuries na natamo si Miss Velasquez, except sa mejo malaking concussion on her temporal lobe on the right side. We believe that, this affected her memories since this part of the brain holds it, kaso." He explained but stopped midway kaya halos hindi na kami makahinga sa antipasyon.

"Ano dok? Pwede deretsohin mo na kami, malapit ka nang matamaan sa'kin sa pa hinto hinto mo eh." Sabi ni Ogie as he leaned back on his chair and glared at the doctor who seemed a little nervous.

"Ano ho ba yun dok?" I asked when minutes passed and dead silence enveloped the room.

"This is a case of selective amnesia that we have never encountered before." Sabi nito kaya mas lalo kaming nabahala. What the hell do they mean?

"Her memories seem to be altered. Kahapon ay pumasok ang nurse sa kwarto niya to get basic information from her. Name, age mga ganon lang naman. But at that time ay siya lang ang nasa loob kaya walang nagawa ang nurse namin at siya nalang ang tinanong." The doktor explained but it seems na wala ata akong maintindihan. Where will this discussion lead? Anong context nito?

"Ah yeah, lumabas ako kahapon to take a call, mejo natagal kaya hindi ako nakabalik agad. Yun siguro yung time na pumasok yung nurse." Cacai said that made me nod.

"Pero ano namang meron dun? So what if you asked her basic information?" Ogie said. Ramdam ko ang inis niya sa sitwasyon at ang pagkawala ng pasensya niya sa pinag-uusapan.

"Well, who wouldn't know Regine Velasquez right? I mean she's the talk of the town and everybody knows who she is-" Hindi na natapos ng doktor ang sasabihin when Ogie slammed the table, stood up and shouted at the doktor.

"Go straight to the fucking point!" He shouted, maybe enough for the people outside to hear us clearly.

"She believes that she is Marteena Diamzon, she has a child named Liam and a husband named Lance. And based on my observation kanina nung hinahabol natin siya, she firmly believes that Mr. Piolo Pascual is Lance, her husband." The doctor stated that both shocked and confused us.

"This had never happened before. Those who were diagnosed with selective amnesia only forgets a snippet of their lives, but they never believed that they were a different person. Kailangan pa namin siyang obserbahan, we need your consent to test her. Na manatili muna siya dito para malaman namin kung ano talaga ang cause nito. The board are suggexting na may trauma involved daw but we are still not su-" Once again ay pinutol ni Ogie ang doktor.

"Ihanda niyo ang papeles, iuuwi ko ang asawa ko." Sabi nito kwinelyuhan ang doktor.

"But Mr. alcasid, this will be beneficial for us. This is a new scientific discovery, the medical society will be forever thankful if you accept our offer. We will compensate you for this, and rest assured that Ms. velasquez will be well taken care of." Sabi nito but Ogie only punched the doktor. Nagulat ako sa ginawa nito, pero kahit ako din naman ay hndi papayag sa alok ng doktor.

"Give me her discharge papers now, o ipapasara ko ang ospital na ito?" Sabi nito kaya lumaki ang mata ng doktor at agad na nagmadaling tumawag sa kanyang telepono. "A-ah n-nurse Anne, yung discharge papers ni Ms. Velasquez." He said and dropped the call. Kasabay non ay binitawan na din siya ni Ogie. 

Ogie was about to leave, nasa kamay na niya ang door knob ng tawagin siya ng doktor. "You can't take her, Mr. Alcasid. Hindi din siya sasama sayo." The doktor said kaya nanlisik ang mata ni Ogie at sinuntok uli and doktor. Sa pagkakataong ito ay hindi ko na napigilan at hinawakan ko na si Ogie para hindi na niya malapitan ang duguang doktor.

"Anong sabi mo?!" Sigaw ni Ogie at pilit na kumakawala sa hawak ko. I urged Cacai to stand the furthest away from us. Mahirap na at baka matabig namin siya.

"You can't take her with you, hindi ka niya kilala! Even her siblings hindi niya maalala. Kung kukunin niyo man siya sa panganagalaga namin, it would be best if you would not tamper with her condition. Right now, the only one she trusts and remembers is Mr. Pascual, sa kanya niyo ibigay si Ms. Velasquez. Hindi makakatulong sa kanya kung pipilitin niyong ipaalala sa kanya ang mga nakalimutan niya." The doktor said but Ogie looked like he didn't really care.

"Wala kang karapatan para sabihan ako niyan. Iuuwi ko ang asawa ko sa ayaw at gusto niyo." Sabi nito at akmang aalis nang sumigaw uli ang doktor.

"It might lead to brain damage, maaaring hindi na niya kayo makilala kailan man and the worst case scenario would be internal bleeding. She could die, Mr. Alcasid!" 

"Then she dies trying to remember me." He said at lalabas na sana sa kwarto pero humarang si Cacai.

"Hindi ako papayag, wala ka pang karapatan para magdesisyon para sa ate ko. You have no right to sign her discharge paper just yet. Hindi pa kayo kasal kuya, pinapaalala ko lang sayo." She said but Ogie only smirked.

"I'm her fiance."

"Yes, you're only her fiance. Legally, kami pa rin ang pamilya niya. At hindi ako makakapayag na kunin mo ang ate ko at may posibilidad na ikamatay niya yun. I was once afraid to lose her, hindi ko na kakayanin kung mauulit pa yon." Sabi ni Caci na nagpagalit. 

"Bullshit!" Sigaw ni Ogie.

"Kahit anong galit mo kuya buo na ang desisyon ko. Kay Piolo ko ipapasama si Ate." And there my world stopped.

And I don't think this will end good. My love, I thought that would be the last, but destiny disagreed with me again.
