Katsuki kept walking. He didn't know where he would end up, but he needed to clear his head. He always knew that his hot-head would cause him trouble. Why now? Why couldn't he just be honest with Izuku? Tell him how he really felt, tell him about his nightmares. No, that would be far too easy. He had to snap at his newly bonded Omega and then storm out of the apartment. He'd go for a walk and then come back when he'd calmed down. Maybe Izuku needed some space too.

The Alpha walked with purpose, ignoring passers by as he made his way down this street and that. People were accustomed to the Pro Hero's grumpy demeanour, it was nothing new really. The people that pointed and tried to wave were a mere distraction. He merely grunted at them and continued walking.

He marched on until he was standing in front of a red door. Classic. Oh, so this is where he'd ended up. He should have really known that he'd end up here. Where else would he go? Who else could he talk to? He knocked sharply. Katsuki could hear two people shouting, one always louder than the other. The door opened revealing a half dressed Kirishima.

"Bakubro! What are you doing here? Sorry, I was just working out. Are you coming in?" The red haired Alpha stepped to the side to allow Katsuki in. Kirishima knew how to read his best friend. "I thought you'd be with Midoriya, is everything ok? I thought you'd be-"

Katsuki stared at the wooden floor, he knew that he needed to talk about what had happened, he just didn't know how.

A loud bang came from the next room, followed by a high pitched squeal. Katsuki wasn't surprised to see the pink haired Beta come flying in his direction. "Bakugo!" Ashido leapt onto the Alpha, causing him to take a few steps back, "what are you doing here? Where's your cute Omega?" She was looking around him in a desperate search for the green haired hero.

It was Kirishima that stepped in, pulling his mate off of the tense Alpha. "Mina, you can't just do that. What was that bang anyway?" Katsuki was surprised to see a slight frown on his best friend's face.

The Beta looked at the floor, "oh it was nothing. I'll be right back." She was gone as quickly as she'd appeared.

"Sorry, we both know she can get a little over excited at times. She hasn't shut up about you and Midoriya. Is everything ok? Where is he?"

"I need to talk to you, in private" that was all Katsuki could say. He knew he would need to actually open up soon, but whilst the gossip queen was still in earshot he had to be careful.

"Oh, er...yeah, of course. Let's head to the gym," Kirishima led the way. Katsuki followed the Alpha down to their gym, Kirishima turned the speakers on and sat on one of the benches.

The two sat and stared at one another for far too long.

"In order to talk about something, there needs to be an actual conversation," although Kirishima had almost mumbled it, the Alpha still heard him. Even with the music, Alpha hearing was something else.

"Don't you think I know that," Katsuki paused, "I just don't know how to say what's going on inside my head." The blond Alpha sat there with his head in his hands. Kirishima moved so that he was sitting next to his friend.

"Trust me, I know you suck at this," he only just dodged the hand that tried to hit him, "just start at the beginning."

Katsuki took a deep breath. "Well, I guess you know what happened at the...er...hospital," the Alpha was staring daggers at the floor as though he was hoping it would swallow him whole. How was he supposed to talk about this?

Kirishima didn't speak, just waited for the unusually quiet Alpha to continue.

"So, we ended up back at Izuku's apartment, as you know, and I helped him through his heat. You know, as we are bonded now..." Katsuki then went on to explain the events, focusing on this morning before he'd arrived at the red haired Alpha's door. His gaze never left the floor. As he went through each moment, Katsuki's heart pounded loudly in his head. He'd been an absolute alphahole to his Omega. Really, there was no wonder that the Omega had behaved in such a way.

When he finally finished talking, he dared to glance at his friend. The Alpha was not surprised to see a saddened expression. "From the look on your face, Bakubro, I can see you already know what you've done. I know that Mina is a Beta, but she can be just as sensitive as an Omega. Midoriya had just finished his heat, you really need to be a little more aware of his emotions."

Katsuki could feel the conflicting emotions rising to the surface, "don't you think I know this! We've only been mated for a matter of days and it's resulted in this! How do I fix it, Kirishima? I can't lose him."

"Wow, I never thought you'd be asking me for relationship advice." Katsuki could tell that his friend was trying to lighten the mood. It wasn't working.

"Well, don't get used to it. I know that I fucked up. I need to fix it, and I need to do it now."

"Well there are several things that you could do. Gifts are always a good idea. Mina is a sucker for jewellery. You could take him out on a date, as your last one was kind of interrupted. I know that you skipped a few steps, why not spoil him rotten and properly court him?"

Katsuki mulled over these ideas in his head. The hair-for-brains Alpha may have a point. He wasn't a romantic Alpha, he had never had a reason to be. One night stands had been enough for him until now.

That was going to change, however. He would do anything to make amends. "Thanks, shitty hair. Don't get used to hearing that, and you can wipe that smug grin off your face before I blast it off." Katsuki would never admit it, but he'd actually found that talking through this had helped him. He now had an idea of how he was going to fix things with his Omega.

Katsuki left, though not before being bombarded with questions from an annoying pink haired Beta. He reluctantly promised to bring Midoriya round at some point soon. Hearing that, Ashido finally let him leave.

He had a job to do. A plan to put in place. He headed home, collected a few things and set off for the Omega's apartment.

It was mid afternoon by the time he was gently tapping on Midoriya's apartment door. The Alpha could hear shuffling and grunting from inside the apartment, what was going on in there? Before he blasted the door down, it was opened to reveal an orange fluffy lump with a rather red face. There in the doorway stood the little Omega. Katsuki could tell that he'd been crying. He'd caused that. He hoped that his beautiful Omega was ready to be spoiled rotten.

Katsuki swooped the smaller male into his arms, releasing soothing pheromones to help.

"Izuku, I am so sorry. I should have said such things to you. I shouldn't have stormed out. I want you. I want to make this work if you'll let me?" The Alpha looked hopefully into those mesmerising green eyes that were so easy to get lost in. He held his Omega close, never wanting to let go. "I know that I have a lot to do to make things up to you, please let me."

Midoriya had snuggled into the Alpha's chest, the blanket falling away. Katsuki couldn't help but notice that it was one from his line of merchandise. That had to be a good sign. A rumbling was coming from Katsuki's chest, he was purring. Purring for him Omega. He felt Midoriya snuggle closer. The Alpha closed the door and carried his mate into the bedroom. He sat on the edge of the bed, he wasn't sure how the Omega would feel about him being in his nest currently.

"Izuku, are you listening to me?"

All he received in reply was, "mhm." That would have to do.

"We are going to do this properly. I know that we skipped a few steps, but I want to spoil you. I want to court you. I'm going to cook you some food, we can watch whatever shitty hero film you like. Does that sound ok?"

At the mention of food, the Omega's stomach spoke for him. He probably hadn't eaten since Katsuki made him breakfast this morning. He looked down, to see two green eyes staring back at him, "w...what are you cooking?"

"Katsudon."
