A/N: I am so sorry that there has been a long gap between chapters for this one.
Life has been a little crazy and I hit a bit of a wall with this one.My daughter has been in hospital, work has been very busy and I'm getting married in August, so quite busy with that!Hopefully, the next chapter for this will be out next month!
What had he done? Those marks looked fresh and very red, some verging on purple. How could he have let himself hurt his Omega in such a way? He couldn't take his eyes off each mark on the smaller male's body. There was a particularly dark red hand print close to Midoriya's right hip. They couldn't be? No, he wouldn't have used his quirk? Would he? He'd never experienced such a loss of control. He dropped his gaze to his hands, his fists clenched tight. He was an Alpha, he knew how to control his actions.
"Kacchan? What's the matter? Are you back with me? Alpha?"
Why was there a concerned expression on the Omega's face? Then a gentle hand was placed on his cheek, he felt himself pull away. He didn't like this feeling that was building inside of him. He had not felt this volume of shame for many years.
Surely the Omega should be feeling pain or even fear. How could the green haired male show such concern on his pretty face for such a monster?
Katsuki moved his gaze back to the mess of sheets they were curled up in. What were they sitting on? It had to be his bed. Was it a nest? But they were in his Apartment? Looking closer, the Alpha noticed that there were a lot of Katsuki's clothes mixed in with the bedding. Had Midoriya made this nest for them? The Alpha was still struggling to remember the events of the previous evening?
"Izuku, how did we get here? More importantly, what did I do to you? I can't..." his head was in his hands.
"Kacchan, look at me." The blond was still stuck in his head, the Omega tried again. "Alpha." There was a sharpness to the Omega's tone. Here it comes. Katsuki, however, heard him that time. Their eyes met. Katsuki knew that this was it. He'd lost his mate, his Omega. He was such a fucking idiot.
"Look Izuku, I'm fucking sorry ok. I'll help you get your things and call you a ride so you can get out of here. I don't know how to apologise for what I have done."
The Omega's scent suddenly developed a sour note. "What are you talking about, Kacchan? I'm not going anywhere. I'm staying here with my Alpha," the smaller male's frame was now touching Katsuki's. He nuzzled his neck against the Alpha's as his scent became stronger. "I'm not sure exactly what's going on in that head of yours, but I do know that you need to listen to me. Your Omega."
Katsuki did just that, not wanting to further upset the green haired Omega. No, he was currently holding enough hatred for himself for the both of them. Red eyes darted once more around the room. How could he have let this happen? Especially after things were starting to go so well for the two of them.
"Do you think you hurt me? Is that what this is all about?" Again, the Omega nuzzled closer as he spoke.
How could he not know that was exactly it?
"Why else would I want you to fucking leave? Just look at you. Look at what I did to you!" His voice began rising, "I really don't know why you are still here, you should have left a long time ago."
"Katsuki Bakugo," that caught the Alpha's full attention, he couldn't remember the last time Midoriya had used his full name. Red eyes locked on stern green ones as the smaller male continued, "you listen to me. I am not going anywhere. You are my Alpha and I am your Omega. And as your Omega it is my responsibility to help you though moments like last night, and I wouldn't change that for the world. These bruises are nothing compared to what we both went through during the War." Midoriya's voice dropped slightly, "Truthfully, I enjoyed last night. I don't remember a lot from my heat, so...it was good to spend this time with you when I knew that you wouldn't hold back."
Katsuki's mouth was open. He had rarely been speechless in his lifetime, yet now was one of those moments. Was he hearing Midoriya correctly? Maybe he'd hit his head severely and wasn't thinking properly? Yes, that had to be it. Or it could be a quirk? The Alpha realised a little too late that he had been speaking aloud. The green haired male's expression had turned into a smile. A contagious smile at that.
"Sorry, I just don't really know how to process all of this. I took one look at your body and my brain shut down."
"Kacchan, I am ok. You're ok. We are ok."
Those green eyes were as captivating as ever. The Alpha pulled the younger male into his arms, burying his nose close to his mating mark. Their scents had become intertwined since their bond had formed. The way the Omega's sweet green apple scent complimented his sharper caramel and toffee made his mouth water.
Katsuki gently ran his tongue over the mark he had placed mere days ago, causing Midoriya to shiver in his arms and the bond to flare between the two of them. His inner-Alpha finally settled down. Without realising it, the Alpha was now purring. His chest vibrating in response to his mate.
"If you weren't looking so sore and bruised after last night, I would be bending you over the kitchen table, Omega," Katsuki's voice was deep, his lips close to the smaller male's ear.
Another shudder was felt from the Omega before he replied, "I...er...yes. Let's save that for another time, Kacchan. We probably should get dressed and eat something."
Midoriya shuffled away from the Alpha, looking around the nest for something. That was when Katsuki noticed that their clothes from the previous day were also scattered amidst the blankets, cushions, pillows and his own wardrobe. An overly large grin spread across chiseled features.
"Yes, let me help you. I can't believe you made such an impressive nest so quickly." Katsuki knew exactly what he was doing, and the way the room suddenly filled with the scent of sweet green apples proved him right. However, he carried on, lifting out items of clothing and throwing them into the basket by the door.
"K-Kacchan." Katsuki didn't need to look to know that his Omega's eyes were watering. "Do you really mean that? I didn't have long to put it together. You were so out of it. I was worried what you would think-" Midoriya's mumblings were stopped with a kiss. A gentle one this time. Warm lips pressing together in the hopes of expressing a deep emotion.
"Of course I fucking mean it. Only my Omega would be able to put something like this together. Now let's get showered and I'm making you breakfast."
Midoriya nodded as the two began to disassemble the makeshift nest. The two then took a shower together, Katsuki enjoying massaging his sore Omega's skin. Every part of it too.
Stepping out of the en-suit Midoriya suddenly turned to his Alpha, "Kacchan, I...er...don't have any clothes. We had to put them to wash because...well you know." The pink tinge to the Omega's cheeks was far too endearing.
"I'll have them ready for you soon, for now you can wear something of mine." His inner-Alpha was brimming with pride at the thought of just that. He strode towards his chest of drawers, pulling out a t-shirt for Midoriya to wear. It didn't go unnoticed by the Alpha, how the younger male sniffed the fabric as it passed over his nose. "It'll just be the two of us, so no underwear will be neared."
The poor Omega's face went as red as a tomato at his words.
"K-Kacchan, you can't say such things," he smoothed down the shirt so it was hanging just over his knees. "You mentioned food?" Big green eyes were now overly large. "Oh and I'd like a tour. I've never been here before and I was to get to know my Alpha's apartment."
Katsuki just smiled, of course his Omega would ask for that. But he didn't really see the point in it, he wouldn't be staying here much longer.
