Taehyung had been through a lot these past few weeks. The boys had news but knew he was too tired and too sad to handle anything. Therefore, they didn't say anything. After he got better, Yoongi issued a meeting. The girls were in the office sorting out some documents. Taehyung entered the room. He sat down at his spot and lit a cigarette, the familiar action calming his nerves.
The boys exchanged uneasy glances. "Taehyung, there’s something we need to discuss," Yoongi began, his tone serious.
Taehyung took a deep drag from his cigarette, the smoke swirling around him. "What is it?" he asked, his voice steady but laced with curiosity.
Yoongi cleared his throat. "It’s about Lisa."
A flicker of concern crossed Taehyung’s face. "What happened? Did James escape and find her?"
Namjoon shook his head. "No, it’s not that. James is still in no condition to escape after what we did to him. It’s something else."
"We’re worried Lisa might tell her parents what happened," Hoseok added. "If they involve the police, it could be a huge problem for us."
Taehyung’s expression darkened, his jaw tightening. He took another drag from his cigarette, exhaling slowly. "I’ll handle it. Later."
Jungkook spoke up, "Maybe you should talk to Jennie. She knows Lisa best."
Taehyung nodded thoughtfully. "Good idea."
Jungkook and Yoongi left for a mission, while Hoseok and Namjoon went to gather information. Jimin and Seokjin stayed in the meeting room to go over some papers. Taehyung, feeling the weight of the new issue, headed towards the office where the girls were.
Inside, Jisoo was animatedly teaching Rosé and Jennie about business. The room was filled with laughter and light-hearted banter.
"How do you know so much about this, Jisoo?" Rosé asked, genuinely impressed.
"I was just born smart," Jisoo replied with a playful smirk, causing Jennie and Rosé to laugh.
As Taehyung entered, he was greeted by the warm atmosphere. His serious demeanor lightened up seeing the girls’ cheerful faces. "What’s going on here?" he asked with a smile.
"Oh, nothing much. Just planning a coup to take over your position," Rosé teased.
Taehyung chuckled. "Jisoo’s ready to take my place, huh?"
