Chapter 8: We Must Prepare Ourselves

*A few days later back in Sun Village, Oolong and the others finished their training with Y/N's clones and felt confident in their abilities. It was like training with Y/N helped them learn faster then compared to anything else, they didn't know why but no one could understand the power of the Great Y/N.

Oolong's POV:

"It looks like I'm finished with training for the moment. I thought I die back there so many times, but the clone always healed me and I felt a little stronger afterwards. It might have to relate to the fact that Lord Y/N named me and gave a portion of his mana towards me." I thought to myself while staring at the clouds in the blue sky. I'm way stronger now, but I need get even more stronger so I don't hold him back! Gohan and Bulma arrived next to me and sat down on both sides of me. I never had friends before, I was always alone and that caused me to become cold to the world. I only cared about me and what's mine, I even took from them because I thought I was right. I am the reason why they ran out of food and I don't wanna think about the many who died because of my actions. 

What really bugs me is that I didn't recognize the massive Hou who fought against me, his power almost felt Y/N's. He claimed it was chi but it felt a lot more like ki but it was tainted in some way. Maybe there is more to him than we initially thought, so i will bring it to Y/N's attention when he returns. "Oolong are you alright? You seem kinda down buddy." Gohan said to me with a concerned look on his face. "Oolong we are your friends, you can tell us anything and we will help you. If its beyond us then we can ask Y/N for help because he can do anything!" Bulma blurted out with a shine in her eyes. I laughed and questioned them, "Why don't you hate me? I caused so much pain for you and your people. Don't you want revenge? Why are you so nice to me?" I couldn't hold back my frustrations and confusion any longer, I had to know why they looked at me with such kind eyes. I was trying to hold back tears of anger, "A monster like me cannot be forgiven so easily. I was scared of my own weakness that I would put down others to make me feel strong. I am a coward."

"Is that what you really think of yourself Oolong? A coward? You must be a fool if you believe that" I heard Y/N's voice say to me. It was the clones, I forgot that they were here. "I chose you to follow me for a reason. I saw the great potential in you to improve as a warrior and a monster." one clone said to me. "Just because you are a monster, doesn't mean you have to be evil. You are a brave warrior who helped me defend the weak, even if it could have costed you your life. You are my first true friend Oolong, and my power couldn't be possible if I didn't have you and everyone believing in me." he said with his signature smile and offered a hand to me. "We will become stronger together, Oolong." I took his hand and got off the ground, I smiled at my master and thanked him for his kind words. "It's all in the past now Oolong, I forgiven you a long time ago. We are now united under Y/N so are comrades until the very end. Please be easier on yourself because I trust you with my life as you should trust me with yours." Gohan said with a smile. "Y/N gave us new lives and purpose so we should all work towards his goal!" Bulma chimed in with a blush. She was right, he gave us a purpose. I will dedicate my life to his cause no matter what it is.

"Thank you everyone, now lets go back to the village. We need to train everyone so that can become useful to Y/N." I commanded while marching towards the village. Gohan and Bulma followed behind me, but the clones Y/N created just vanished into smoke.

Y/N POV:

"Looks like they're done training, I am proud of each of them." I said to myself while dispersing my clones in that area, but I had a question. "Shenron, when I gave them names. How much power did they take from me? They seem to be growing at a rapid rate. It's like they are Saiyans." I asked the dragon with curiosity. "When you gave them names, they formed a connection with you which enables them to grow in response to your growth. When your clones were training with them they were rapidly growing with you and their connection with you grew stronger. Also in a second you are going to feel the effects of your Clone ability." he said to me in his deep voice. I was confused until I felt the rush of power coursing through me, I absorbed the four clones that were there and their experiences. My aura was starting to grow in size as it was becoming violent with the ground cracking and the wind howling. I could see Thrain and the others were pushed back and were terrified of my power. I took a breath and started to suppress it within myself.
