Chapter 23: Sun City

*Still in Shenron's realm

Y/N's POV:

"Shenron, its time for me to achieve Super Saiyan 3. What is the best course of action I should take?" I scratched my itching nose.

"I would recommend training with Goku when he was in Otherworld during the Buu Saga. Training with him will help you unlock Super Saiyan 3 easier. Another advantage is your tail and your maximum potential, the tail is the key to unlock a Saiyan's true power. Unlock the true power and you won't even need God Ki to reach Goku's level at the end of his battle with Gas." He snorted out towards me. 

Amazing, I was told I could go far with my potential but to know that I could become that strong just by focusing on my Saiyan path. "Thanks Shenron, I will focus on both the God and Primal path of power. First I will unlock my true Saiyan power with the help of the Saiyans. Also is it possible, to visit the Dragon Ball universe instead of replicating it here?" If I could visit the different Dragon Ball universes then it could improve my growth but who knows how much time it would take.

"You would need the System's authority to traverse to different universes or to become a God yourself. It is possible but it won't be the exact universe, rather it would be a different version of the universe."

"Awesome, now I have a few plans I will do later in the future if I ever go that far!" Now that was answered, its time for the training. "Take me to Otherworld so I can train with Goku!" I asked the Dragon and I was transported there. I was near Goku and he was training hard, so I decided to ask him to train with me. "Hey Goku! I know you're training to achieve a form beyond Super Saiyan 2 so we should train together." I asked with my hands in a begging motion, he laughed and agreed. "Sure Y/N, lets get stronger together!"

We trained for years later, the training was fun and I learned some new tricks about the Super Saiyan form. I had forgotten about using Super Saiyan as base form just to eliminate stamina drain. I even met King Kai and Pikkon which I trained with them also, so I had a better understanding of Kaioken and Spirit Bomb. Also it seems like Shenron has recreated the entire Buu saga instead of just Otherworld, so I fought in the Otherworld Tournament. Instead of Goku fighting Pikkon, it was me and it was a tough fight. I came out on top then I matched with Goku next. 

The fight was evenly matched until Goku pulled out a trick, "SUPER KAIOKEN!!" his aura flared red and his yellow hair turned red too. He speed blitzed me and punched me in the jaw then I crashed into a nearby asteroid. "KA..ME..HA..ME!!!" he was charging up so I had to stop him fast. I used Instant Transmission to get behind him and did an overhead kick to strike him towards the ground. I went to continue my attack but he fired a ki blast directly in my face and I couldn't dodge it. I was dizzy then I felt my whole body bend over because of the heavy gut punch Goku did on me. Before I had a chance to recover, he knocked me out the arena which resulted in my loss. "I actually lost?" I was shocked that I lost because I was sure I could beat Goku, but he went over to me and offered his hand. "Y/N I am sure Master Roshi taught you this but never become complacent. There is always someone stronger than you so always push yourself." I took his hand after hearing those wise words. To hear my hero say this to me almost brought me to tears, but I quickly covered them up. Afterwards we ate a big feast with the other fighters and went back to our training.

After 5 months, we finally unlocked Super Saiyan 3 and trained to reduce the stamina drain. I had an easier time than Goku so I told him it probably because of my tail. Goku pondered this idea and told me he remembered Raditz saying something similar. Goku asked if I mastered the Oozaru form so I showed him my Ikari form. "Whoa, the power of the Great Ape in human form. It's impressive but I feel like there is something more. I think Ikari is just the first step into unlocking the true power behind our tails." He told me and I was curious about this. I know about Super Saiyan 4 and how to get it but I never considered Ikari having a part of it. What if I unlock a different Super Saiyan 4 since I unlocked the first step of the process. What if Goku's and Vegeta's Super Saiyan 4 forms are incomplete. I was excited and wanted to unlock the form badly now. I gave Goku my thanks and asked Shenron to take me back.
