Chapter 47: I See You

Sans' POV:

"You actually managed to hit me and inside of my domain too. You really are something else." I coughed out as I struggling to breathe. I managed to pick myself up and Chara stood there smiling at me, "You almost won Sans, in our first fight you released your true power and time stopped me. I couldn't move or do anything so I was about to give up until Gilgamesh told me the secrets behind DETERMINATION. This power has no limits Sans, so that's why you lost." With that being said, my domain came crashing down. 

"Welp I'm going to Kakarot's, Papyrus...do you want anything?"

Chara's POV:

He turned to dust and was scattered in the wind. He truly was a strong foe and he could have killed the other SOUL users but fate was against him to put him against me. "Well no time to get emotional, I think the others have it from here. Using all that DETERMINATION really drained me and one more minute in there would have drained it all and I couldn't come back anymore. I truly got lucky." I said out loud even if nobody heard me, I decided to rest in one of the houses that wasn't on fire. 

There was a family inside hiding, a mother and a daughter.

"Please don't kill us! Well at least don't kill my daughter! You can take me if you want!" the mother cried out with the child holding on to her. She was crying for her to stay, and something about that really seemed familiar. For a second, I saw myself there but I guess I was just imagining things. "If you leave the house, I will spare you." I told them and they left in a hurry. I went into a room and it was the daughters. A typical girl's room but I didn't mind it, I jumped on the bed and laid there for some time. Thinking about everything that has happened so far, then I saw something on her nightstand.

"Is this Chocolate?" I grabbed the bar of candy. Camelot and the Church of Avalon didn't have any of these. Wait how did I know what this was? I never seen this before but I feel like I have. Something isn't right, I thought back to what Sans said to me. "Maybe he was right after all, but I don't know anymore. Too much of a headache to figure out." I took a bite and it reignited my love for the stuff. I ate the whole bar in a second, and laid back down with chocolate smearing on my face.

"Chara are you here? Where are you?" I heard Amber outside calling for me and she sounded frantic. I got up and jumped through the window on the other side of the room, "Amber! What's wrong?" I asked her once I landed on the ground, she saw me and ran towards me with a big hug. 

"CHARA! WE HAVE BEEN TRICKED BY MERLIN! WE'RE MURDERERS CHARA! OH GODS WHAT HAVE I DONE!" She cried out and started throwing up but luckily she aimed at the ground. I was confused by her words, "Amber what are you saying? Are you sure you aren't being tricked by the monsters?" I asked her while holding her hair back. She finished and stood up to look at me in the eyes.

"Me and Milo were fighting against some monsters and we were winning until a female Kijin intervened. I am not sure what skill she used but once she casted it, I felt at peace like I gain control over myself. Also this fell off of my neck!" she reached into her pocket and pulled out a black necklace, but that was impossible I didn't have one! "Amber I never saw you wearing and I don't have one. They are trying to brain wash you or something Amber! Don't worry I will break you out of it." I ran off trying to find this Kijin she was talking about but she stopped me.

"You have to believe me Chara, Merlin is lying to us. Come on think about it, what do you remember about the past?" She asked me, and I told her about the monsters burning down my village and killing everyone but sparing me.

"Can you remember what they looked like?" she asked me, and I tried to remember but I couldn't. Actually everything was really foggy for me and there are some parts that I can't explain. I remember my brother but I can't remember my parents, but I never had a brother here. He wasn't there in the village! "Amber I think you're right but I don't - " another huge headache occurred and all the memories of the monsters destroying my life replayed. Amber was wrong!
