Chapter 12: Another Demon Lord?

*After the defeat of forces deployed by The Church of Avalon, the head priest had to inform Merlin of the situation.

Merlin's POV:

"THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE!" I screamed out as I flipped my table out of frustration. "Francis, you're telling me we lost one of our legendary heroes? Not only that Father Matthew and Artoria are MIA!" I shouted towards the man while putting my finger in his face. "Yes Great Merlin, that is what I am telling you. The forces at Sun Village are formidable, I watched the whole situation using my crystal ball. Also I am afraid I have some more bad news." he told me in that same nonchalant tone he always had. "Oh great, what is it now?" I said sarcastically.

"It appears another Demon Lord has been awakened. It's no other than Y/N, the leader of Sun Village." when he said that I felt my heart almost stop. "what..."

King Arthur's POV:

Man its getting harder everyday not to expose Merlin for what he's doing with those children and the church. I go to to play it smart, and use this to my advantage when the time comes. He thinks he can overthrow me with measly children, but I will take their SOULS for my own. "You there, servant." I said to the young woman who was cleaning my chambers, and she looked at me and bowed. "Yes Your Majesty, what can this humble servant do for you?" she said in a cute soft tone. "I know you're married, but who's the best man in this entire kingdom?" I asked her, I wanted to play a little game with her. "Its you Your Majesty, your power and wisdom is unrivaled in all the lands." she softly said. "Who do you love more? Me or your husband? Answer this question honestly" I said with a smile, but I can tell she got nervous of the question. "I love my husband, but I also love you too Your Majesty." she sheepishly said. "Leave your husband for me, and I can assure you that you will never work another day in your life." I offered to her, and she actually thought about it, but she pissed me off. "I can't, I made a vow to him. I'm sorry." she said trying to hold back her fear. I was going to slap her, but I heard a knock on the door. "Who is it?" I demanded, and I heard it was Merlin. The old man had to ruin everything, "Enter Merlin." I said then he teleported inside of my chambers, the show off. "Your Majesty we have a crisis on our hands" he said with a nervous expression. I sighed and told the maid that she was done for the day. After she took her leave, I questioned Merlin "What is it Merlin? Does it have to deal with the monsters in the forest?" I asked curiously and Merlin came close and whispered in me.

"Your kidding another Demon Lord has risen?" I said quietly, not knowing who could have been around the area. "Damn this is bad, especially since the church attacked his nation." I said. Merlin looked at me with confusion, "When did they become a nation?" the old man never cease to surprise me with his stupidity. "Haven't you've been paying attention? They are now called 'The Golden Sun' and they have diplomatic relations with all the other nations! We are the only ones left out of the deal! We are losing profits at a fast pace, so I need YOU to figure something out! " I yelled at him because this was all HIS FAULT. "They also have your daughter! They captured Princess Artoria and Father Matthew." he blurted out. "That useless bitch! Out of all my children she's the one without any talent. Well it seems he did me favor, so I will look pass it and figure out how to establish relations with him." I said casually with no concern on my face.

"You don't care at all? The people love Artoria! Who knows what they'll do when they find out she's missing." he said in a panic. "I have planned out Merlin, relax before your heart gives out. Do you know who else treasures my stupid daughter? The King of Tiberia, Omega." I said with a sadistic grin on my face. "Once he finds out then he will be so overcome with rage that'll he will do the hard work for me. He will call off relations with The Golden Sun and since Laspols will agree too since the King and Queen have history with each other." I said to Merlin. "Relax Merlin everything will play out. I don't need anything from a kingdom of monsters, and I can't believe that I wanted to make a deal with him. It disgusts me truly" I spat our and begin to put the pieces into motion.
