SEVEN ✮jealousy and confessions

"HOLY SHIT! ARE YOU GUYS OKAY?"
lainey and colin sat on the ground, a cloth to lainey's head. she hasn't spoken to anyone since she woken up. colin sat next to her, holding a water bottle in his hand. they sat close to each other, colin tried to speak to her, but she just stared at the ground. lily stood next to tyler, the two of them talking. "lainey." lily said, looking down at the girl, "are you okay?"
lainey looked up at the girl and nodded slowly. suddenly an paramedic ran over to lainey, "let me see your head." the woman said, making lainey slowly remove the cloth. colin stood up, his hand out for lainey to grab and stand up. lainey grabbed it, not noticing the way tyler clenched his jaw, "come with us and we will get you patched up."
lainey nodded slowly, stepping over the rubble on the ground. tyler put his hand out for lainey to grab, since she was wobbling all over the place. "lains, let me help you." tyler said, following the girl as she walked towards the ambulance. lainey looked back at him but ignored him and continued to walk. "lainey."
"leave her alone." colin said, "obviously she doesn't want to talk."
tyler snapped his head towards the brunette, "i'm sorry, who are you?"
lainey ignored the boys bickering and sat down in the back of the ambulance. the woman opened up a box and grabbed some bandages, "good thing is, it didn't cut to deep and should heal up pretty quickly. have you had anything to eat?" the woman asked as lainey shook her head no. "dan! get her something to eat!"
"thank you." lainey mumbled.
"no problem sweetheart."
lainey looked up to see her sister running away from javi, straight for a storm par truck. she drove away, making lainey clench her jaw in anger. dan, the other paramedic, gave lainey some animal crackers and a bottle of water. lainey felt the woman clean up the wound, and put on bandages. "is she gonna be okay?" tyler asked, walking up to them.
"i'll be fine." lainey replied, standing up. "where did my- kate, go?"
tyler shrugged, "i don't know. i'm focused on you right now."
lainey gave him a fake smile, "i'm fine."
tyler sighed, wrapping his hand around her shoulders, "lets go back to the motel."

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUT HERE SO LATE?"
lainey sat on the steps outside her room, staring at the stars. she didn't even notice colin walking up to her until he sat down next to her. colin looked at what lainey was looking at, then looked back at her, "pretty right?" he asked, but seemed to be focused on lainey instead. she gave him a small smile, "i never experienced a tornado like that, staying with you probably saved my life. my plan was to get in the truck and drive away."
