lainey carter stood at the drivers side of tyler owen's truck with a large smirk on her face. boone was already in the backseat, his head sticking out of the window to watch the interaction between tyler and lainey. "no. not at all." tyler replied, shaking his head. "you'll get us killed." lainey immediately gave him the pouty face, "don't try that shit with me lainey mae."
she continued the face, "boone thinks i should drive-" she looked at boone, who went wide eyed, "right boone?" tyler looked at his best friend as lainey gave him the pouty face, boone pressed his lips together before putting his head back in the truck and rolling up the window. "exactly!"
tyler rolled his eyes, "we are gonna miss the storm-"
"let me drive!" lainey exclaimed, "please i'll do anything!"
tyler smirked, "anything?"
lainey immediately glared at him, "ew. gross."
she opened up the truck door, looking at tyler who just stared at her. she smirked before hopping in, causing tyler to reach for the door handle but she shut it in his face. she immediately locked the door. she giggled, blowing a kiss to tyler as he walked in defeat to the other side of the truck. "am i dreaming!?" she unlocked the door so he could get in, "this is the best day ever!"
"yeah. yeah."
lainey put on her seatbelt before boone started the cameras up, "hey everyone! i'm driving today!" she immediately put the truck in drive and gassed on it, causing tyler to fly forward. "oops."
"do you know how to drive?!" tyler exclaimed as lainey pulled out onto the road.
"i failed my test three times." lainey admitted, "and i got into four crashes."
"oh my god."
boone laughed, "we are gonna die."
"how did you fail and crash so many times?" tyler exclaimed as lainey smirked at him, "i thought you were valedictorian?!"
lainey shrugged, "smarts doesn't mean anything when it comes to driving!"
tyler stared at her with fear in his eyes, "boone. i love you buddy."
boone put his hand up front, him and tyler doing their handshake. "i love you too t." boone replied making lainey scoff.
"you guys are assholes." lainey replied before looking at the storm in front of them. lainey pressed down harder on the gas, making tyler grab onto the door handle in complete fear. she's never seen him so afraid, and it was hilarious. "this is amazing!" tyler and boone looked at each other, "can i drive into it?"
"hell n-"
"thank you!" lainey exclaimed before turning down a road. a tornado began to form, making lainey excitedly clap her hands. the truck slowly drifted off the road, "whoops!"
"who the hell is driving up there?" dani asked through the walkie.
"don't tell me thats lainey!"
"you guys are fucked if its lains."
lainey grabbed the walkie, "it is lainey driving, and she can hear you!"
"love ya lains." lily replied, "just don't die up there."
lainey rolled her eyes before rolling down her window. she tried to get a better view of the tornado as it landed. "boone get the rockets ready." she ordered, making boone nod and open up the window. "ty..."
tyler looked over at her with wide eyes, "lainey don't you dare drive in there."
"you're not my mom."
"he's scared shitless!" boone laughed as he rolled back up the window. "this is hilarious!"
tyler fake laughed, "i love my truck!"
"i love my truck." lainey mocked as she rolled up the window. "hear that boone! he loves his truck more than you!" boone placed a hand on his heart as tyler looked back at him. "this is the best day ever!"
tyler shook his head as lainey drove off the road, driving through the field towards the tornado. rain began to hit the window, causing tyler to shut his eyes "you're acting like my mother, tyler owens." lainey mumbled, "she had no faith in me either." lainey turned on the radio, timber by pitbull was playing. "oh my god it's my song!"
boone let out a whoop as lainey turned it up, looking over at tyler. "stop giving me that look." tyler stated, "it doesn't look good on you."
"what look?" lainey innocently said, winking at him. she suddenly slammed on the breaks, "harnesses on boys!"
"lainey mae carter!" tyler exclaimed, "stop!"
lainey looked over at him, "nope."
"i hate you so much."
lainey shrugged, "used to it."
lainey put on her harness before pressing down on the bolts button. the bolts went into the ground, making lainey smile widely. she looked over at tyler, who was looking out the window. she reached over and grabbed his hand, "now we sit and wait!" the song was blasting in her ears as tyler looked over at her. "ready baby!"
"i guess!"
the tornado went over top of them, the wind hitting the truck forcefully. she let tyler shoot off the rockets and she watched as they flew into the tornado. "this is awesome!" lainey exclaimed, reaching her hand to give boone a high five. "can we do this again!?"
the tornado slowly disappeared, making lainey take off her harness. she hopped out of the truck with boone, the two of them fist bumping. he put the camera in her face, "this is lainey and we just wrangled a tornado!" she blew a kiss to the camera, "get this to five thousand likes and tyler will let me do this again!"
"hell no!"
