Harry and Ariana were in the living room while Harry was playing a game. He has Ellie asleep on his chest in a sleeper with a light blanket on her back to keep her warm. Her burns were fully healed and it's been a couple of days since she had arrived. Ariana was cuddled up beside Harry as she looked between the television and their daughter. Ariana was about to doze off when she could feel her phone ring. She looked at her phone screen and saw that it was her record label.
"Ugh." Ariana groaned as she got to from the couch.
"Hey Ariana, I know it's late but could you come into the studio? It's urgent." Ariana could already hear Kelly in the background.
"Right now? I thought we agreed on not coming together until later." Ariana sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose.
"Ariana, we need you down here. I know we agreed on not meeting, but it's urgent. We've already called the rest of the band. I'm not going to ask again."
"Fine. I'll be there in 20." Ariana hung up and groaned.
"Are you okay, babe?" Harry asked when Ariana returned.
"I'm being called into the studio. Are you okay with handling Ellie on your own until I get back?"
"Yeah."
"Okay, thanks Haz. Make sure she's in bed within the hour." Ariana grabbed her stuff and left.
Ariana got to the studio about 20 minutes later. She opened the door to see her tour team and the rest of her band sitting at a table with a bunch of papers scattered everywhere.
"This better be quick. Harry and I were getting ready for our flight to the UK." Ariana said as she sat down at the free chair.
Hannah was the last one to come. The bunch of them talked about the tour dates and even discussed putting a few more dates on the list. Ariana felt her phone buzz in her pocket a couple of times before she looked at it. Harry was calling her. She excused herself from the table and answered the phone.
"Hey Harry, is everything alright at home?"
"Yeah, everything's good. I just got Ellie down for the night."
"That's good. I have to get back to the meeting, but hopefully I can be home soon to help pack."
"Thanks, babe. See you soon."
"See you soon, love."
Ariana hung up and returned back to the meeting. About an hour went by and the meeting came to a close. It was longer than she thought it would be, but that's probably only because it was such short notice and about how late it was when you got called in. It was 9:30 in evening when everyone was allowed to leave.
The four of her girls were just hanging out the building. Hannah took a cigarette and lit it, sharing one with Susan. Ariana and Harry were talking about telling the bands about Ellie and now would be the perfect time for Ariana to spill the beans.
"Hey girls!" Ariana started. "Is this a good photo to post?"
She pulled up a picture that she took earlier and showed them.
