Twist and Shout!

Mei woke up on the couch, her neck craned uncomfortably as light blared through the window behind the couch. Mei heard a voice rumbling and footsteps down the back.

"What ghost are you talking to now?" Allison asked.

"Oh... just another old cowboy! Texas is pretty lousy with 'em... They're usually pretty cute, but this one is... this one is ugly and dumb." Klaus whimpered, Mei couldn't see him from where she was but sat up from the couch, and walked over.

"Hey... Allison how did I..?" Mei looked around her surrounding area, this was certainly not 28 Orange Circle.

"I wanted to go check on you, thought you'd be at home with your uncle. Your place was unlocked when I came over. I decided to bring you here," Allison answered from the kitchen. Mei walked over quietly to see Klaus on the kitchen floor, and Allison against the counter. Klaus nursed a tall clear bottle of tequila from the floor.

"Klaus, I'm not your enabler. Look elsewhere," Allison stated firmly as she took the bottle away from Klaus' grasp. He sighed dramatically and stared up at his sister.

"Allison, your marriage is in trouble, your rally turned into a riot. If now's not the time to do some drink party, I don't know when is!" Mei leaned against the doorframe as she stared at Klaus. He gasped when he saw her, "Little Mei! What are you doing without your other half?"

"He can fuck himself with a bat." Klaus waved his hand to Mei, and pat the ground beside him. Mei and Allison sat on either sides of Klaus.

"What happened, Klaus?" Allison consoled him from his side. Klaus just chuckled and shrugged. His hand reached into his pockets to reveal a silver flask. Klaus twisted the top, taking a fast shot and groaned. "Where to begin?"

After a few moments of silence, he breathed out and found where to start.

"My claustrophobic cult tracked me down, I fell off the wagon, and professed my undying love for..." Klaus paused to burp, Mei grimaced at it. "This young gay man, who doesn't know he's gay yet, at a nineteen sixty three diner, in front of his blatantly closeted uncle. Not in that order but!" Klaus took a swig from his flask again, moaning in delight from it, and leaned onto Mei as he handed the flask to Allison.

"What happened with Five?" Klaus asked against her head. Mei let out a scoff at the thought of Five. "You don't want to know."

"Am I losing my only sister-in-law?" Mei didn't answer, she didn't think a divorce or separation would happen, but she's also never had this big of a scream match with her husband.
