Mei was squeezing her foot down as Lila groaned underneath, her gaze never letting up from Lila's eyes. Mei's blindness spell left Lila— whose eyes were no longer pitch black.
"You've got a good nose," The Handler commented.
"Y'know. Planting her in a psych ward, taking advantage of my simpleton brother, that was smart." Five nearly complimented. He was fixated on Lila squirming under his partner's shoe. "Well, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree."
Five's head almost turned like a robot, his stare in disbelief. "No way, this is your—"
"Daughter. Yes! And she's my only one, so I'd appreciate it if you didn't crush her windpipe," The Handler smiled back to Mei. Mei groaned as she let up off, and put it down beside her. Lila cried and panted as she stood up to look Five in the eyes.

"Awh... Well, jazz is like a beautiful woman. Complex, emotional, hard to please. She doesn't just give it to you, she makes you work for it!" Mei stared at the back of Five's head as The Handler talked. Their ex-boss walked around the table, and sided next to Mei she stopped.
"I'm really hopin' you're going somewhere with this," Five was growing annoyed as The Handler went on. The Handler put her arm around Mei's shoulders and started to get to the point. The Commission
"Under my leadership! The Commisson would start to sound more like..." She paused for dramatic effect. Her eyes traveled the room to return to Five, "Jazz!"
