my own tradition

Older Five and Mei were talking as they adjusted Five's gun, Mei on the radio as it hummed beside them. "This is my favorite part. The calm before the storm." Mei hummed the music from the radio before switching to the channel narrating Kennedy. Young Five was breathing heavily, scratching himself furiously as he watched the old couple.

"Look. The briefcase," He whispered to Luther. Mei was further back, away from the older couple, preparing something not even Five or Luther understood. Mei was hidden behind a car, with a purple haze around her hand and book.

"No, don't. You won't be able to get there in time," Luther reprimanded his brother.

"Of course I will. This is our only chance." Mei barely heard them talking, just a loud fwpz twice.

"No. No! Oh... shit," Luther said.

"Bad idea, shit-heel." Mei sat quietly, her eyes peered over the car, seeing her older self leaning against it, facing Luther and both Fives.

"Stop it! All right? The both of you. Pull it together. Now, Kennedy is gonna be coming around that corner any minute. Okay? So, everyone, let's just take a deep breath..." Young Mei watched her Five take an obnoxiously large inhale, and exhale it out through his mouth.

"Now, we're all family here, okay? So can we all just try to get along for a few more minutes?" Young Five smacked his mouth together and looked at his older.

"You want it?" He asked his older.

"Go ahead," The older Five said with a glare.

"What's that?" Luther asked, Young Five answered with a kick to Luther's crotch, and Luther groaning in pain.

"Now..." The Old Five grinned, the Younger returned it. "Where were we?"

The two blinked away, the Older Mei not able to join the five second fight as they quarreled and blinked away. All the two saw was sudden flashes of light. Young Mei remained quiet behind the car old Mei leaned on, her presence unheard.

"Would you please..." The two blinked on either sides as they kicked him back in the groin.

"Hey! I'm getting really sick of this," Luther shoved his arms down like a fed up child. Mei watched as they fought and blinked around in matters of seconds.

The two faced each other, feet away from each other, their breathing stunted. "Getting tired yet?" Older Five taunted with his shit eating grin.

"I can do this all day," Young Five responded. Luther, who was actively recovering from the barrage of attacks on his taint, stood slightly hunched over.

"Guys, this has to stop," Luther pleaded to his brother(s). Their heads spun at Luther to tell him off in unison  "Eat shit, Ape Man!"

The two ran at each other, a blue blast of space and time reverberated Five from one another. Both of them fell back and onto the floor in a flash. Luther picked up older Five's work commissioned gun and pointed it at them. "Hey! Assholes!"
