a little more quo1982.
Five and Mei walked up to the lodge, a woman hunched over the counter as Five approached her. His hands fiddled together.
"Excuse me," he asked the curly haired woman.
"Uff da! You snuck up on me there. If you're looking for the cookies, we don't put 'em out till three o'clock," the woman answered. Five faked excitement in his reply.
"I can hardly wait." His jaw tightened. Mei noticed and followed up, "Do you happen to know where the Midwest Soybean Society is meeting?"
"Sure do! Muskellunge Banquet Room. You lookin' for your mom? She in the convention?" Five noticed a woman by a vending machine, his interest peaked and pulled out a dollar from his pocket.
"Hey, can I get some change?" The woman complied, talking to herself and checked her purse. "Oop! You are... in luck, Mister!"
Five didn't pay attention much, his hand got the change dropped into his hand. "You know, some say the best luck is to die at the right time."
Mei's eyes squinted as she turned to look at Five. "Sorry, he's a philosophy major..." Five just walked away, the woman stared star struck, most likely disturbed.
Five beelined for the vending machine. Mei, apologized to the lady again and darted to Five, who was slamming his shoulder into the vending machine.
"Five! Five what the hell are you doing!" She shouted at him quietly. She walked up before he could kick the glass in. The glass alone was already bent in from Five probably slamming his shoulder into the machine.
"Five!" Mei hooked her arm and punched him across the face. "Jesus Christ. Go find the room, I'll get the fudge nutter," Mei shoved him away. Five pushed her against the vending machine, his eyes beading at her. Five said nothing else before his lips met hers, his kiss fueled by anger and lust. After a few seconds of Mei standing in shock she was about to return the kiss then Five pulled off, and walked away.
"Jesus Christ," Mei groaned as she leaned off the vending machine. Mei used Mage Hand to get the Fudge Nutter, and a few more to hopefully pacify the boy. She turned around to see Five take the emergency axe off the wall and lick his finger. Five strutted along the hallways to the meeting room, axe above his head. Mei took out her spell book, looking at the number of spell slots left she could use, she hadn't slept.🛏️
"I only have high level slots, Five." Five grumbled back as he and Mei appeared in the doorway.
Five's face was blank. Mei's expression died, and tilted her head. A golden halberd appeared to her left.
