Chapter 30

Swish!

Shi! Shi! One, two!

Y/n could be seen shadowboxing in his own home as he tried testing out his body to see if it has recovered from damage. 'Good! I have recovered already!' Y/n said as he was clearly raring to go through intensive training again. However as he was about to run outside, a familiar voice cleared their throat, and he immediately froze in fear as the voice said:

"Didn't I tell you that we're studying today?" 

Y/n then slowly turned around, and as he did, he saw Kurumi who was giggling like a girl while wearing a maid outfit, showing her position among the Karasawa Family. "Asshole, you really just had to pull that prank on me," Y/n pouted as he puffed his cheeks. "Well, as Origami's maid, I have to ensure that you won't do anything stupid while she's asleep. Still, I am quite getting used to be you and Yoshino's babysitter," Kurumi ended the statement with a slight jest as Y/n sighed, knowing that Kurumi will snitch if he ever tries sneaking away.

"I know nothing will get past you, so I'll just be a good boy and study. God, I was looking forward to spar with Tohka or Kotori," Y/n whined as he then went to the dining area and was shocked that breakfast was already served for him. As well as some math, history, and Japanese Language and Literature which were the subjects he so poorly excelled at due to either him sleeping through the classes or he wasn't paying attention. 

"I'm gonna be spending my entire weekend doing this am I?" Y/n complained as Kurumi nodded. "Yup! Also, once Origami is done with fixing herself up for the day, a 'Heaven or Hell' reward-punishment system will be implemented by her!" Kurumi spoke about what would happen next after Origami wakes up as Y/n shuddered in fear, knowing that Origami was practically ruthless and strict with the reward-punishment system. 

Although it's not some form of corporal punishment, it still gets Y/n exhausted and drained and although he consents to these methods since this was the only thing that gets him disciplined. The only thing that he is afraid of is Origami's seemingly never-ending stamina and desire which was why Y/n hoped that Yoshino or Ryo was around today so Origami could act decently.

Sadly, Ryo and Yoshino had thought that they would be distracting Y/n's studies. As such, Yoshino moved in to Shido's house for a while whereas Ryo went to work with Jakob. Alone, Y/n was left at Kurumi and (mostly) Origami's mercy.

As the day of the exams finally ended, Y/n was on the Pastimers Club, sitting on a nearby chair in a slouched position as Shido, Tonomachi, and Tohka could see pure white ash coming out from his body. "He looks like his soul got sucked out of his body," Tohka pointed out as Tonomachi agreed, adding, "Have you seen him when he entered alongside Origami? He looked like a dried shiitake mushroom when he was doing last minute review."

Shido on the other hand, knew about the whole thing, as this was something Y/n would complain about last year. Looking back at Origami, she shrugged feigning innocence while giving a slight smirk that says, "You can tell them all you want, no one would believe you." Shido then gave her a deadpan stare and in his mind, he asked, 'I wonder how me and Tohka gets seen as the less pure one rather than you.'

After a short while, Origami then approached Y/n, giving him water which he drank in a few seconds, causing him to be slightly refreshed than before. "Aaaah... Finally, heaven..." Y/n spoke in a soft tone, clearly finding euphoria and peace after such a grueling test. "Well, unfortunately, we still have to accommodate our newcomers today. We have two new people joining," Tonomachi stated, and Y/n made a curious face. "Wait, who the hell would even want to join our club? This is just some club that we had so we could pass time and do nonsense stuff," Y/n asked and a voice then said:
