On the other hand, Y/n. could be heard shouting his lungs out as he was making a mad dash at an unknown direction. To him, this was the only healthy way he could let out his anger after hearing about Johannes' story. He couldn't let someone like Ellen to get away with the abuse she had done to her own son. As his anger built up, he stopped and roared, aiming let out an explosion of Reiryoku in an open field when Shido tackled him down shouting, "Don't, jackass! You're gonna cause a spacequake in that state!"

As the two laid down flat on the ground, Y/n finally snapped back to his senses and realized what he was doing. "I... What was I..." he questioned what his anger led him to. "I'm glad I went after you. You could've done a lot of environmental damage. Still, why are you on the verge of snapping? You look like you want to kill someone," Shido asked and Y/n realized that he had lost his temper again and looked down in shame.

"Mind telling me what's got you this angry?" Shido asked in a concerned tone as he handed over a can of orange juice to his friend who thanked him. "You best not tell anyone about this," Y/n told Shido to keep what the former is going to confide next to be a secret between them.

After that, Y/n told Shido about the story of Johannes' past. As Y/n got into detail about how Johannes got abused in the majority of the young boy's childhood, Y/n crushed the can in anger. "Like how!? How could you strike and hit a defenseless child in the hopes he could become stronger?! Especially as it's her own flesh and blood!" Y/n shouted in frustration as he added, "I saw it clearly too at the plane. I may have put a target on my back after that, but it doesn't matter."

"Wait, you punched someone?! You're a former boxer!" Shido shouted, knowing that it's prohibited for a boxer to use their fists. "I never turned pro, so it shouldn't matter!" Y/n retorted as an excuse as Shido sighed. "Still, I know how you feel with this whole thing. You're trying to practice being a parent in the future, so you got angry for what you saw," he understood why Y/n acted that way, as Y/n acts like a parental figure towards Yoshino.

"Yeah, but I could've handled the whole thing less aggressively. It just means I have a long way to go," Y/n pointed out, criticizing himself for lashing out physically even if it was justifiable. "No need to overthink about it. What's done is done, and we should get back. Let's just enjoy this trip, since this may be just a once in a lifetime experience," Shido spoke and slowly, the sky turned dark. "Huh, weird. They said the weather is clear today," Y/n spoke and Shido gasped and pointed at the former's pendant glowing.

'A Spirit...' Y/n thought as he sensed the wind become as strong as a typhoon. "Shido, Territory. Now!" he ordered as he and Shido created a barrier around them. As the winds grew more powerful, certain objects started to fly towards them. "Damn, it's windy out here!" Y/n joked around as he kept maintaining the barrier. "Yeah, no shit, Sherlock! You have the wrong timing to joke around!" Shido shouted while keeping the barrier maintained.

"Well, it's not like we're gonna die. We're durable enough to take hits, but I don't want my uniform dirty," Y/n spoke in a relaxed manner and saw something in the storm. "Hey, call me crazy if you want, but aren't there two people fighting in the sky?" he asked Shido who looked and saw what Y/n saw. "You're right, and they're...coming towards us?" Shido then realized what was going to happen and immediately reinforced the barrier.

"Well hold on tight! We're in the splash zone!" Y/n spoke as he helped Shido in fortifying the defence of the barrier. As the two unknown beings crashed down to the ground due to their fierce battle, the wind that erupted alongside the shockwave almost caused the barrier to shatter. 'Well that ain't so bad. Probably comparable to blocking Tohka's hits,' Y/n thought, measuring the power of the shockwave for future reference.
