Y/N's POV-

I was ready to take the bullet from Jimin, my eyes squeezed shut in anticipation of the pain. But nothing came. Hesitantly, I opened one eye, then the other, to see Jimin lowering his gun, a smirk playing on his lips.

"I won't kill you this soon," he said with a chilling amusement.

A shiver ran down my spine as I felt a mixture of relief and terror. Why was he toying with me? My voice trembled as I asked, "Why are you doing this, Jimin? What's going on?"

He ignored my questions, instead asking, "Why did you follow me?"

"I saw you with a man who had a gun," I replied, my voice shaking. "I thought you were in danger."

Jimin chuckled, the sound cold and mocking. He laughed, a sinister echo in the desolate area. "You thought I was in danger? How naive."

Confused, I stared at him. His eyes gleamed with a dangerous light. "I don't blame you for being clueless about our real identity," he said. "But let me tell you one thing: no one has the guts to go against us."

Before I could respond, he gestured toward the window. "Have a look. It's time you got a glimpse of reality."

I tried to say something, but the words caught in my throat. Jimin's smirk widened as he sensed my fear. "What's the matter, cat got your tongue?" he taunted, his eyes glinting with a sinister amusement.

I stayed silent, my heart pounding in my chest, and just nodded towards the window. He gestured with his gun, signalling for me to move. "Go on, take a look. You'll understand soon enough."

With trembling steps, I made my way to the window, feeling Jimin's eyes burning into my back. As I peered through the dirty glass, my breath hitched. The scene unfolding before me was like something out of a dark, gritty action movie.

A man stood with his back to me, his broad shoulders tense and intimidating. In his hand, he held a gun, the cold metal glinting ominously under the dim warehouse lights. The gun was pointed at another man who knelt on the ground, his hands bound behind him. The kneeling man was shaking, his face pale with terror and streaked with tears. Surrounding them were several other men, all armed and exuding an air of ruthless authority.

The man with the gun spoke, his voice dripping with venomous disdain. "You don't deserve to live after what you've done," he said, each word a chilling decree. "You dared to cheat me and kill my men. That's unforgivable."

The kneeling man's pleas were heart-wrenching. "Please, it won't happen again! I swear! Just give me another chance!"

A dark chuckle escaped the gunman's lips, and he shook his head slowly. "No one gets a second chance in this game of life and death. You've wronged me, and now you must face the consequences."

Without further warning, he pulled the trigger. The sound of the gunshot was deafening, a brutal crack that echoed through the warehouse and sent a jolt of fear through my entire body. The kneeling man crumpled to the ground, blood pooling beneath him. The gunman fired again, and again, and again—three, four times, each shot a final, irrevocable judgment.

My reflexes took over, and I dropped to the ground, hands clamped over my ears, eyes shut tight against the horrifying reality. My body shook uncontrollably, the sound of the shots still ringing in my ears, mingling with the frantic beating of my heart.

Jimin's voice cut through the chaos, eerily calm and almost pitiful. "You see now? This is the world we live in. You were worried about me? I'm the danger here, Y/N."

I opened my eyes, tears blurring my vision, and looked up at him. "Jimin, what is this? Why are you involved in something like this?"

Jimin crouched down to my level, a cruel smirk playing on his lips. "Seeing you this afraid from a mere gunshot, I must say your Yoongi oppa did a good job keeping you out of this life."
