"What the fuck is wrong with him?" Alec threw his hands up in the air as he sank onto Jace's bed.
"He's hilarious." Jace sat next to Alec and smacked his stomach making Alec grunt. "He keeps teasing you in such funny ways. You? Gay?" Jace burst out laughing. "You're the most uptight person I've ever known. No way."
Alec coughed to hide his embarrassment and shock. "What?"
"The stuff in drama class. He was totally making it seem like you were." Jace paused. "Not that it would matter either way, but you? Come on. I'm more likely to be something other than straight. I attract all types." Jace winked.
Alec released the breath he had been holding. His secret was safe. No way Jace could see past his own ego to recognize anything else going on around him.
"I better get started on my homework." Alec got up as Simon walked in.
"Hey guys." Simon went to hug Alec until the death glare made him stop. "I heard some interesting things happened in a certain drama class." Simon wiggled his eyebrows.
"Dude," Jace looked annoyed. "You were there."
Simon rubbed his hand over his neck. "Well yeah, but I didn't realize you knew that. Anyway..." Simon paused and looked back at Alec. "You and Magnus...?"
"We're barely even roommates." Alec hissed and shoved past Simon to leave while mumbling. "Just had to open his pretty fucking mouth."
"Who?" Magnus of course was standing in the hallway trying to open their door.
"By the angel!" Alec rolled his eyes. "Who what?"
"Oh nothing. We can talk about my pretty mouth anytime." Magnus kicked the door. "But even if magic were real I don't think I could open this fucking door."
Alec reached forward, turned the knob, and let the door swing open. "Yes, so difficult."
Magnus was so shocked he couldn't speak. He simply followed Alec in and looked at his hand. "Are you a warlock?"
"No." Alec looked annoyed but Magnus could see the tiny crease at the edge of his right eye showing that he was amused even if slightly.
"Light this candle." Magnus shoved towards Alec's face. "Come on."
"Get off me!" Alec pushed him back. "Wait, where did you get that candle from?"
"The fridge." Magnus shrugged and set it down then froze. "Oh, this isn't our room."
"It is not." Alec groaned.
"What the fuck are you doing in here?" A girl stormed in and slapped them both. "Help! Theives!"
An hour later they were arguing about whose fault it was while a drunk man slept noisily on the ground.
"You know what?" The campus officer opened the cell. "You are worse than the 5 drunk girls who all found out they were dating the same guy. Get the fuck out and stay out of other people's rooms."
"Thank you!" Magnus leapt up, kissed his cheek and dragged Alec out."
"I'm not doing extra paperwork so just take this as a warning."
"Will do, Sir." Magnus saluted him.
The officer sighed. "I won't be surprised if I see your roommate back in her for murder."
"Is that your way of saying I'm annoying?" Magnus winked.
"It's his way of saying justified murder." Alec glared and hurried outside.
"Murder?" Magnus stayed right with Alec, every step.
"Yes."
"You could murder my lips with-"
Alec spun towards Magnus so quickly he jumped. "You need to stop!" Alec poked him in the chest hard.
"There's one way to make me."
"Please, I'll do anything."
"Kiss me."
"God." Alec rolled his eyes.
"Once and if there's nothing I'll leave you alone." Magnus started walking and Alec grabbed his arm, pulling him back.
