Wednesday - Week 6
3:49 AM
[ The Metkayina Residence's Guest Bedroom ]Aonung abruptly jolts awake from a nightmare with a yelp. As he leans up off his face and onto his forearms, looking around the dark room, a figure next to him in the large bed moves, drawing his attention.
He stares at the tan boy for a moment, confused about who he is. His head is still shaken from the nightmare, so it takes a moment for his mind to register where he's at, and most importantly, what he's done.
He curses softly to himself, and moves his loose hair out of his face.
Jax- Good to know you're still alive. Thought I killed you when you passed out like that.
Aonung- I told you to take it easy.
Jax- Everyone always says that. Then what do they do? Beg for more.
Aonung- I didn't beg for shit, you just did it.
Jax- I was taking precautions.
Aonung- Fuck your precautions, I also told you I was a virgin.
Jay- Everyone always says that too.
Abruptly, Aonung pulls himself out of bed, but a surge of pain knocks him to the floor, making Jax hurry out of the bed.
Jax- Hold on, man, you're gonna hurt yourself.
He comes to help pull Aonung off his stomach, but a hand slaps his away.
Aonung- Don't touch me. This is your fault to begin with.
Jax- You're the one who decided to sleep with a stranger.
Aonung- . . .
The boy is right. He should've known better than to do something so reckless, but he was more turned on than he'd ever been. It was still a stupid move though. Forget whether or not Kiri would find out, deciding to do this was disrespectful to his girlfriend. On top of that, the toll it took on his body is unreal, but he's starting to think he deserves it.
One thing he does know is that if he's capable of being this stupid while sober, he better not ever reach for a bit of alcohol. From this point on, without even trying it, it has been banned from his system.
With a sympathetic expression, Jax looks down at the scabbing scars along Aonung's back. He was told, the moment they started removing their clothes, not to question the sight.
Jax- Hey, it'll feel better after you rest.
Aonung- I can't stay here. Where's my phone? And my clothes, for that matter.
Jax- Let me help you up and I'll get them for you.
Aonung- Fine.
After helping the Cloud boy up, Jax also helps him dress, then hands him his phone once he's lying on the bed again. Aonung snatches the device, which Jax ignores, then scrolls through his notifications.
He has missed calls and texts from Kiri, Tsireya, and Rotxo. He notices the most recent missed call is from ten minutes ago; Rotxo.
It makes him feel guilty. Out of everyone, his step brother worries for him the most. And though he never says so, Aonung knows he feels like he's to blame when something does happen to him; Feeling like anything the Metkayinas do to the Cloud boy is his fault.
