The pull of the sea made the feeling of drowning more final. Hands reaching, yearning , for someone to pull you out as your lungs had air being pushed outside of them from the panic and the pressure.

So badly did you want to scream but you knew that once your lips would open to even whisper a word, the water would pour in and suffocate you. No one would hear you. Tears had escaped your sealed eyes , barely visible in the water.

The feel of a hand reaching for your hand sent an electric feeling throughout your body. Pulling you up was almost a struggle, as if the water was a denser substance than it should have been. Your arm felt the ache of being pulled up with your weight.

The feel of air reaching your lungs was a large relief, eyes trying to open but afraid of the water dripping into your eyes and blinding your vision with a sting.

The feel of soft palms almost lovingly caressing either side of your face made you open your eyes, blinking away the sea water. Only, there was a metallic smell surrounding you. The water you had been pulled from was none other than a sea of red. The smell of rotting being caught from a whiff from you nose. You almost gagged at the smell but the sight of the one in front of you made you freeze.

"You did this." In front of you stood the very same boy who seldomly haunted your mind. He looked to be the same age as when you last saw him. When the both of you were fourteen. His usually snow white hair having red drip from somewhere on his head, his eyes had tears of blood cascading slowly down his cheek. His face seemed to have no emotion . Eyes that had once given you a sense of comfort in your blurred past only pulled you into a void of nothingness and in that nothingness was a reflection of you at the age of fourteen.

"You-You did this to all of us."

Behind him stood Yumeko. A large spear having pierced through her seemingly alive body. Her bloodied hands holding onto the boys shoulder. Her eyes harshly glaring at you.

There were more behind her. Every familiar face you had gotten to know from your island stood brutally injured , surrounding you. Even those you don't know. Their faces covered in scars. Some had missing limbs, missing chunks of their torso. Some heads hung by a piece of skin and bone to their bodies.

"YOU DID THIS TO US."

"monster"

"demon"

"cursed child."

The sound of unknown whispers overwhelmed you. You couldn't understand them.

They rung through your ears, begging to be heard.

"I SWEAR ,IT WASN'T ME!" you pleaded the boy in front of you. Who's hands went from your cheeks to holding you with a vice grip on your shoulders. His hands were cold. Not just the freezing cold but an almost death-like cold that made shivers run through your body, your senses going on high alert.

His lips were a few centimetres from your ear." You're a monster. A danger to society. What makes your little "friends" safe from dying because of you."

Before you knew it, beside Yumeko stood your crew., all battered and on the brink of death.

"NO!" The grip on your shoulders didn't let up as you tried to run to your friends.

Luffy stood in front of everyone as if to shield them. Zoro drew his sword, ready to strike even if he had scars that almost made him unrecognizable. Sanji threw his cigarette into the bloody sea and directed a look of hatred in your direction.
