Asahi and Hyoga are shown back to back before Asahi's shocked face is shown. "Clear the darkness of the impossible!" Senku and Hikari are shown back on earth, reaching up for the moon. "Guided by the will we've carried all along!" Hikari is shown appearing to gasp before she turns and the Kingdom of Science is shown looking at her. "Let's go explore the world!" Their makeshift globe is shown before Hikari is shown jumping into Senku's arms and she hugs him tightly and the title is shown.
"In the early middle ages the fiercest warriors who ruled the northern seas were the Vikings!" Hikari explains as they were in costumes for Little Byakuya who stares at them with a blank expression.
"What's with this skit?" Minami asks.
"It's for Little Byakuya." Chiyo explains.
"They're explaining maritime navigation." Ukyo comments.
"With shockingly advanced navigational skills, the viking reached North America 500 years before Columbus." Hikari explains.
"Incredible. How'd they do it way back then?" Ukyo asks.
"Hmm." Chiyo breathes out.
"Those vikings must've cheated! How'd they manage to sail so fast as if they had signs to guide them?" Ginro asks.
"They didn't cheat." Fumi states.
"The only guidepost at sea is the sun." Kinro comments.
"But sunny skies aren't a guarantee." Kohaku explains.
"Hmm pretty sure they use the stars to guide them." Asahi comments.
"Ten billion points, Asahi!" Hikari exclaims and high fives him.
"Pretty mysterious! It's like... the vikings knew where the sun was even on a cloudy day." Suika explains.
"Ha! That viking over there seems to have created something amazing!" Kohaku states.
"You're right! I'm not sure why but... I have a feeling he made a crazily creative tool. Something almost magical!" Chrome exclaims.
"Yes, the vikings basically used magic items. And one of them was a rock that revealed the sun's position at all times! The sunstone!" Hikari exclaims.
"Sunstone?" Cinder asks.
"The legends make it sound like magic, anyway." Chiyo explains.
"Figuring out one's position on the open sea was ridiculously difficult back then." Ryusui explains.
