Chapter Seventy-Seven: Checkmate!

"Check it out, Stanley! This time, we're the ones locking on!" Senku exclaims.

"HAHA! This is our chance to end this battle!" Ryusui exclaims. Senku chuckles.

"Heh. Mess this up and there won't be a next time!" Senku responds.

"No need to state the obvious but don't worry because this shot will bring him down!" Ryusui states.

"Ohayou Sekai... GOOD MORNING WORLD!" The earth is shown overlooking the moon before the earth is zoomed up and the Perseus is shown floating on the ocean sea as the Kingdom of Science crew is shown before Hikari and Senku are shown with smiles on their faces. "I dunno just how long I have walked... Carried by the blisters on my feet... Whoa!" The Perseus Crew is shown arriving in America. "Telling the story of this path I've traveled. Crossing through the night that felt so long..." Hikari is shown looking up in shock before a gun is shown firing and Senku and Hikari are shown gasping in shock. "Dreaming a picture perfect scene WHOA! It has sustained me through my endless battle!" The Two ships are shown leaving before South America is shown on a map with two arrows connected to the ships. "To the peaks of the heavens... the palace, so lush and green... Rocks caves in the dark depths." The Kingdom of Science crew's shocked expressions are shown on their faces. "Horizon's ending! I'll travel through them all! So limitless!" Stanley, Xeno and Cora are shown standing together before Cora and Xeno are shown with the South America Exploration Crew. "To reach the boundaries of the earth!" The Split Crew are shown fighting against the American Crew on two sides. "OHAYOU SEKAI GOOD MORNING WORLD!" Asahi and Hyoga are shown back to back before Asahi's shocked face is shown. "Clear the darkness of the impossible!" Senku and Hikari are shown back on earth, reaching up for the moon. "Make legends come to life with just a wish on a star! On A Star!" Hikari is shown on the bow of the ship staring out at the horizon with tears in her eyes. "Guided by the will we've carried all along!" Hikari is shown appearing to gasp before she turns and the Kingdom of Science is shown looking at her. "Let's go explore the world!" Their makeshift globe is shown before Hikari is shown jumping into Senku's arms and she hugs him tightly and the title is shown.

[On The Ship]

The other plane starts moving wildly. The group stares up in shock and disbelief.

"Jinking!" Tetsuya yells out.

"Gesundheit?" Yuzuriha asks.

"No, what I mean is... Stanley is purposely making his plane go wild."

[Meanwhile - In The Sky]

'At this rate... I won't be able to land a shot.' Ryusui's thoughts say.

[Meanwhile - On The Ship]

"You totally got this! Good luck! Knock 'im out, Senku, Kari and Ryusui!" Ginro yells as he and Fumi were inside the Command Center on the ship.

'Much easier to cheer them on from a safe spot like this!' Ginro's thoughts say.

"Mwahahaha! Once they shoot that fool down, the skies are ours!" Magma yells.

"Yeah, but if they can't pull it off then we're suddenly looking at some very unfriendly skies." Nikki comments.

"F-F-Fore real! Don't mess this up, guys!!!" Ginro yells. Matsukaze stops looking at the sky. His own Nanami blood was kicking in. Something was off.

'This dramatic battle among the clouds has inevitably drawn my compatriots' attention skyward. Which is precisely why I am wary of what may lurk below.' Matsukaze's thoughts say. With his strong sense to protect his Lord and Lady (Ginro and Fumi) Matsukaze was particularly vigilant. Matsukaze looks around. His eyes narrowed. For that reason, he turned his focus to what lay beneath the aerial battle. However, Matsukaze could not have foreseen what was coming due to his lack of knowledge of Humanity's 21st Century Scientific Technology.
