Chapter Forty-Seven: First Contact!

[A Few Weeks Later - September 14th, 5740]

Senku takes pictures up in the hot air balloon. In the village, Hikari was standing in the chemistry lab after Chrome developed them all after a drop off. Hikari looks through all the pictures. Hikari was manning the phone as she had a built-in table for the stand at the moment. Hikari takes a deep breath. She was getting a lot of the third trimester contractions called 'Braxton Hicks' and it was a pain. She pushes down on her stomach to get the little one to settle. Everyone was looking at the pictures. The group consisted of Hikari, Kimi, Gen, Chrysi, Mercury, Amethyst, Cinder and Kohaku. Asahi, Chrome, Chiyo and Ukyo were out going where everyone tells them to.

"Ha! We're sure covering a lot more ground in our oil search now that we have cameras, huh?" Kohaku comments.

"You bet!" Kaseki comments, "My adorable creations are pulling their weight! Your eyes are great, Kohaku, but putting all the burden on you wasn't fair."

"I helped too!" Mercury says.

"You are an excellent help, Mercury!" Kaseki exclaims.

"Ha! Expect nothing less out of my kid." Kohaku explains.

"Yeah, it's him being part Asahi that worries me." Kimi comments. Mercury begins snickering.

"Kari." Gen states and she moves over and rings the ground search team for Gen, "Heyo, ground search team, can you hear me? This is Gen. There's a suspicious looking blur just past the big river beyond Mount Fuji. Could you check it out, pretty please?"

[Meanwhile]

Chiyo sat holding the map while Ukyo and Chrome had a look at it. Chrome marks where they were going. Asahi stood waiting for the group.

"No problem, leave it to us!" Chrome confirms. The group looks at each other and nods at one another.

[Meanwhile - In The Balloon]

"We'd better hurry up. We need ten billion photos before winter comes. We're screwed after that. Can't find anything once it's covered in snow." Senku explains.

"Don't worry, we'll find it by then." Ryusui states and then snaps, "That liquid gold sleeping in the ground! I want oil!"

The song begins, statues are shown in the past before the hot air balloon is shown floating over Japan. The title is brought into view. "Yeah, it's this kind of pain for a tale without a story line!" Senku and Hikari are shown before they turn to look as if someone was calling for them before Cinder, Chrome, Kimi and Gen are shown standing in the Science hut together with grins on their faces. "That's indispensable. The moon settles itself on the sea at night..." Ruri, Flint, Asahi and Kohaku are shown in the village smiling together before Taiju and Yuzuriha are shown sitting together staring at the sunlight. "If you've got time to glorify past sufferings, focus on the moment!" Chiyo, Ukyo, Nikki, Tamaki, Magma and Yo are shown together in a field of wheat before Jade is shown looking over as she stood behind Kinro who held his spear up in front of them protectively with Fumi and Ginro was whistling behind them and Kaseki was holding up a mallet hammer. "I may be a fool, but I'd rather be honest... MY HEART'S ELECTRIFIED!" Tsukasa is shown frozen while Mao is shown looking up with sad eyes before Hikari, Senku, Cinder and Chrome are shown boastfully smiling holding up their fists and the ship 'Perseus' is shown on the open sea. The music plays as it rotates and Ryusui is shown holding out his arms. "Even if it means hurting someone... there's a light that's non-negotiable for me!" Kirisame is shown attacking before Moz is also shown attacking and Sukai is shown lifting her head up and she takes a fighting pose. "Don't mean to bring it up again but..." Ibara is shown with Kirisame and Moz standing with them around an evil aura before Suika is shown riding wildly in a mini steam gorilla. "In this world, in this world..." Amaryllis and Sukai are shown holding their hands to their chest in a prayer motion before they look up at the sky. "I'm not ready to become an Unforgettable just yet!" An evil red aura is shown before the shocked scared faces of Kimi, Gen, Chrome, Ukyo and Chiyo are shown while Hikari, Ryusui and Senku were grinning. "I'm a dreamer that's cheated death!" The Perseus is shown arriving on Treasure Island in a storm. "Crawl back up from zero, even if the sky breaks..." Kohaku and Emi are shown on separate screens jumping off a platform at night and jumping off the ship on Treasure Island doing flips before the face of baby Byakuya is shown with his father's usual expression and Kiryu, Mercury, Amethyst and Chrysi are shown with him. "Go to that world, to that world!" Light flashes and Francois, Minami and Suika are shown together. The group is shown riding through the underground on a mine before Soyuz is shown turning around to look. "Swallowing it tens and hundreds and thousands of times..." Light Flashes as the group is shown on the open sea and Hikari's shown looking up at the sky and the faces of the ISS survivors appear one at a time. "Let it bloom furiously for tens and hundreds and thousands of years!" Light flashes Hikari and Senku are shown smiling while holding their newborn as they stand staring out at Mount Fuji and the title is shown above them.
