Chapter Fourteen: Clear World & Leave It To The Girls!

[The Next Day]

Kimi stretches as she wakes up. She heads to get something to eat. She stood with Asahi and Gen. There were a lot of people, both men and women. Kimi moves over between the guys and faces towards a tree so she could whisper.

"There's been a few new people since we left." Kimi whispers.

"Indeed, it seems like Tsukasa has been busy." Asahi says and Kimi looks around Gen and her eyes widen. Kimi rushes over with Asahi right on her heels. She tackles Mao with a hug.

"Mao-Mao!" Kimi cries out.

"Kimi... Oh, you're back. That's great. I didn't know you were back. Welcome home." Mao explains.

"Tsukasa revived you too." Kimi says.

"Um Kimi care to introduce us?" Asahi asks.

"Oh, right, Asahi, this is my old friend Mao. She is the only person who knew Tsu and I before he became..." Kimi explains.

"Before he came what?" Mao asks.

"We can't talk here." Kimi explains, "Is there a place we can talk?"

"Yep. We girls actually have a place where only women are allowed now. A support group for those who are feeling... displaced after the Petrification. Chiyo makes sure Ukyo's not listening. Even though he is constantly guarding." Mao explains, "Which means your guard will have to stick near Ukyo. Engage him in conversation would ya? Chiyo thinks that he's really bored waiting for her to finish her bath."

"Bath?" Kimi and Asahi ask in unison.

[Five Minutes Later]

Kimi's mouth drops open when the spot for the meet was a meadow near a small lake. The water was crystal clear and it was rather beautiful.

"Go ahead and get undressed. Ukyo keeps all the males away. And he's respectful because he knows Chiyo would probably bash his head in with a rock." Mao explains. A blue haired girl looks up and signs at Mao.

'I would too.' Chiyo signs.

"See?" Mao states and Kimi gets undressed and they step down into the water, "So what's on your mind?"

"I... don't know if I can trust these women." Kimi whispers. Around them were Fumi, Tamaki, Ava, and Chiyo.

"I promise, what is said in the bath stays in the bath." Mao responds.

"Tsukasa isn't the charismatic guy that everyone knows." Kimi blurts out, "I know that's saying a lot... but he's not the same twin brother I grew up with... He's a monster." Chiyo looks up at Kimi and she signs at her.

'Tsukasa terrifies me.' Chiyo signs.

"... wait, he's your brother?" Tamaki asks. Kimi lets out a deep breath and nods.

"Yes. He's... Before he woke all of us up... He tried to kill a man named Ishigami Senku. Senku's girlfriend... escaped with Senku's body and..." Kimi states, "Let's just say... Senku isn't... dead."

"He what?" Mao asks as her eyes widened. It felt like everything inside her shattered.

"Tsukasa opposes a scientific civilization and Hikari and Senku are trying to bring everyone back. The right way." Kimi explains, "He changed... After... after Mirai was hospitalized."

"That's when you guys stopped talking to me." Mao says.

"Yes. Tsukasa became the strongest so that he could protect me and Mirai... but then this happened and... Tsukasa thinks that science abandoned him but... Hikari was Mirai's doctor. She took Mirai's case and has promised me that... she has a way to save Mirai for sure." Kimi states.
