Arriving at Starbucks with my friends, we directly went to order our drinks, exactly what we needed after a long day at school.

"Celestia go first, You always order the same thing so we can have time to decide" Jasmine spoke, I nodded and headed toward the counter. "What can I get you?" the barista asked "One iced matcha latte, with almond milk and vanilla please." He wrote everything down on his sort of computer, but then looked at me and said "Sorry we don't have almond milk anymore, Does oat milk work?"

"Yeah, sure thing!" he nodded and went to make my drink, I left the girls to order with the next barista as I went to the pickup place.

The barista kept checking me out while making my drink, When he handed it to me, I realized that next to my name there was a heart and a phone number, which I assumed was his.

When I looked at him, he winked and directed himself toward the next customer.

The girls finally came and stood next to me waiting for their drinks.

"That dude is weird I don't like him," Sofia said looking at the barista who prepared my drink.

I pointed my cup towards her showing her his phone number, and she took it in between her hands shaking her hands.

"You don't plan on using it, do you?" she asked seriously "Girl of course not, you know me better than that" I exclaimed offended she even thought of it.

Suddenly the door of the coffee shop opened and cold ran through my spine. When we all looked around we saw that it was James and Alex. James was wearing a black Nirvana hoodie with some grey sweatpants, that hugged his waist so perfectly I could die.

What are you even thinking about girl?

They headed toward us, Alex hugging Sofia so tight I thought she wasn't breathing anymore.

"Hello, girls," Alex spoke as James went to order his drinks.

The barista was still eyeing me from time to time, and I think James noticed since he looked over me too, before directing his gaze toward the barista again.

The girls and Alex directed themselves toward a table.

I guess they are sitting with us now...

James followed us close behind before sitting on the chair facing me.

"I don't like that dude." He spoke nodding toward that same barista.

Me and the girls looked at each other and then Christina spoke "He gave Cel, his number."

"Shut up" I looked at her talking in between my teeth.

"I am going to get a cookie, anyone wants one?" he asked but left toward the counter before anyone got the chance to answer him.

I saw Alex murmuring something into Sofia's ear, before speaking out loud, "That dude is practically undressing you in his head now Celestia." Alex spoke, not daring to look me in the eyes.

When I looked toward the counter again, James was talking with the guy, looking directly into his eyes. If looks could kill I think the guy would probably drop dead.

He came back some time later, with a muffin.

"They didn't have cookies anymore." he said dropping it on the table not caring much about it.

We all knew he did not go for a cookie, no order would need this much aggresivity

"Oh, so you look like you could punch someone at that exact moment because the cookies are sold out?!" Sofia asked and Jaz smiled at her question, which was meant to be ironic.

"Makes sense"

He went there, to talk with the barista about me.

What did he say?

The barista looks hella scared now.

Suddenly, my phone rang and it was the driver, signaling me the end of the hangout.

"I have to go, my family invited people over for dinner, I need to go get ready." I said standing up

"OK girlie, take care." they all said goodbye, as I took my stuff from the table.

On my way out, another phone rang, and I recognized James's voice.

"Ok Mom, I am on my way." He said as I stood up, and spoke something, but I couldn't hear him anymore, I was too far.

As I got in the car my phone in one hand and the drink in another, I saw James heading toward his black car, he got in as we drove off.

Where was he going?
