Alex came to my house the morning, entered my room, and threw himself on the bed. The wood made a small crack which led him to jump to his feet looking at me, as I looked at him with big eyes.
"Man! Watch out!" I yelled gathering my stuff from the table.
"It's not broken! It's not broken." He yelled back. Shaking my head I sat on the desk chair wrapped in those bubble plastic papers putting my converses on.
"Ready to leave?" Alex asked me taking a look at all the boxes piled one on another in the corner of my room, today was a Saturday, also known as moving day.
"I don't know, not really, this house is what I've always known, like I'm gonna miss seeing you are doing shit in your room, or getting Sofia over and painting each other's nails, that thing was so funny," I spoke laughing a bit at the memory.
Alex looked at me frowning his eyebrows "Okay, that was a one-time thing! But nail polish suits me."
Sometime later, James and I took my car, to arrive before the moving truck to the building. "By the way, I haven't had the chance to ask you yet how the dinner was at your neighbor's house." He asked, and this is when I realized I hadn't told him it was Celestia's house.
"Well, you are not going to believe me, but Celestia is my new neighbor, I had dinner at her house." Alex looked at me with shocked eyes, I kept mine on the road but I could sense him staring.
"WHAT! And you weren't planning on telling me?" He asked annoyed
"Of course I was Alex, it just slipped my mind, with the moving, and just- yeah."
"Just what, James? What happened?"
Pulling over, I stopped the car "Can you drive? I feel like I am losing focus" I asked getting out not leaving him place to refuse.
After exchanging seats I started talking, telling him about the dinner and everything that happened as he listened carefully.
"Okay, so to resume, She wasn't eating, She puked, You told her about your brother, and you hugged each other, all of that in one night? Oh, Jesus Christ." He spoke and I just nodded at his words, laying back in my seat.
"But like her parents, no her father seems strict, I don't know. Dude, there were three different forks and two different spoons. You saw the new apartment we are moving into, hers is double the size, a whole ass penthouse, maybe 800m2, it was mind-blowing, with black and white tiles, and fancy decorations.
She looked awesome. She was wearing a dress that hugged her curves perfectly, She looked amazing, and her smell, the softness of her hair, just everything was perfect, she was perfect."
"You like her dude," Alex spoke which got me thinking.
"No-" I started but he cut me mid-sentence "Yes. you've liked her since we were kids man, don't lie to yourself it's obvious."
Not so long after, we parked the car in the parking of the building my family was moving in. My parents were out in IKEA, getting some more stuff, while Alex and I were waiting for the truck outside.
Suddenly Celestia's parents went outside the building with two large baggages and she followed them shortly after, but without having any baggages with her.
"Her parent's leaving?" Alex asked looking at her while she was waving goodbye.
"It looks like they are"
"Text her" Alex spoke suddenly "To say what?" I asked annoyed.
"Ask her to come and see your new house." He said standing up as he saw the white truck with all of our stuff inside.
About two hours later, I was still thinking if I should text her, wouldn't that be a bit weird?
Everything was already placed in the house, the tables, the sofas, the kitchen stuff, and our beds, some decorations from our old house were also placed down but since this is bigger and it looks empty, we needed a couple of more stuff.
Text her to come over.
Should I?
Yes, you can hang out for a bit.
Alex's words played in my head non-stop.
Maybe I should, her parents were gone now, and she might be less tense.
I took my phone from my pocket and texted her.
James: We moved in, wanna come over? Take a look around.
Before hitting send, I sensed that the message was a bit dry and, I should change it.
James: Hello C, we just moved in, wanna come over? Take a look around! It's still a bit empty, but it's fine.
I read it one more time before hitting send.
She received it.
...
Answer...
She saw it!
Ok... type something...
She is typing!
Celestia: Uhm, sure I guess, I am coming.
About five minutes later, the doorbell rang "I'll take it, Mom!" I spoke loud enough so she could hear.
"Hi," she said smiling
"Hi butterfly" I smiled at her letting her in.
"I made cookies, when you texted me, I was getting them out of the oven. So now it's a welcome gift." She spoke, her voice so soothing and calm.
She was wearing a grey oversized shirt with Reading Books is nice, but reading 🔥Books🔥 is better printed on it, some white sweatpants and black Converse.
"Let me show you around! But first, we better put those in the kitchen." Taking the cookies from her we walked toward the kitchen.
"Oh Celestia sweetie, it's nice to see you! How are your parents? Your mother told me that they have a trip right?" My mother asked her.
"Hello ma'am, yeah they just left some time ago." She answered with a sweet voice, her hair was put up in a loose bun leaving some hair out of it.
"Well if you need anything we are here! Don't be shy." My mom spoke again leaving us alone.
"I love your mom, she is so nice," Celestia said, walking with me out of the kitchen.
"She is" I agreed
When the visit was done, we went toward my bedroom "The bed, the dressing, and the desk are just placed in my room, nothing is done yet." I spoke sitting on my bed, as she sat next to me she spoke "I'd like to help you do your room, I love decorating bedrooms, I helped Sofia do hers."
"That would be awesome! We can go shopping tomorrow? do you have anything planned?" I asked.
"No I don't think so, okay tomorrow it is!" She said excitedly.
We are going out tomorrow, together!
