Celestia and I made it official a week ago, surprisingly her parents were okay with it so we did not question it anymore.

She acts so happy all the time, she is just a ball of sunshine walking around. She is so kind and so passionate about what she does, she just makes me happy.

We rode together to class today. We listened to music and made plans for this afternoon.

She has an important dinner and needs to get ready, I will probably get her some Starbucks too, and-

"James? Do you have the answer for that problem on the board?" The calculus teacher asked me, standing in front of my table.

I thought a bit and gave the answer, which made the teacher nod.

Math was easy for me, even when I was distracted.

Entering the cooking class sometime later, Celestia was already standing in front of a couple of gingerbread cookies.

When I joined her she smiled at me then the teacher started talking explaining today's class.

"Christmas month is here everyone! For this reason, we are going to make gingerbread houses, everything you might need is already placed in front of you. Work as pairs and just enjoy our very first Christmas cooking activity of the year!"

We started working, assembling the base of the house and sticking the pieces together with cream.

We joked around a little bit when suddenly her nose was covered in cream while my cheek was also covered. We were laughing uncontrollably when the teacher came and stood in front of us.

"Okay love birds, how is the house going? Oh! I see the cream is on your face and not the cookies." She smiled and shook her head "More cooking less canoodling" the teacher continued smiling.

"Miss, canoodling does not mean-" I started but the teacher cut me off by putting a finger in front of her mouth, shushing us.

"Canoodling means whatever I want it to mean." After she spoke we both laughed and continued baking while talking.

"Do you have any other classes after this one?" Celestia asked but I shook my head.

"Neither do you, right?" I asked while she nodded her head.

When our day finally ended, we got into my car and drove toward Starbucks, we picked up some iced coffee before driving back toward Celestia's house.

When we finally arrived, Celestia opened the brown door. Entering the apartment her parents were sitting on the sofa in the very large living area chatting over a cup of tea.

"Hi Mom, hello Father." She said putting her keys and her coat away, being formal and careful, as always.

"Hello Mrs. and M. Martinez." I greeted them walking into the living space with Celestia.

"Oh hi you two, how are you doing?" Her mom asked smiling.

"Good," we both said.

As we were leaving, her father called out for us, "James, Celestia did tell you about tonight's Gala, right?" He asked sipping his tea.

"Yes sir"

"Would you like to join us? I'm going to be inviting your parents too, go as Celestia's date."

When he finished talking Celestia and I looked at each other and she nodded at me, "Of course, that would be a pleasure." I answered.

"That's settled then."

Entering Celestia's bedroom, she opened her dressing room door, to choose a dress.

"I wasn't aware I was allowed to bring a date with me." She admitted

"Today's Gala is really important for my father, it's for his business or something. I don't know all the details though, I know that it's very classy and very boring, it's going to be less of a pain in the ass since you are coming." I smiled at her statement looking at her digging deep into her closet. "I am thinking either white, black, or red."

"Black? A short dress, not too short" I spoke and she nodded, digging even deeper into her closet.

"So it's between this or this one." She said laying two black dresses on the bed.

"Try them on," I said so she took one of them and went toward her bathroom.

When she came out, I was flabbergasted by the beautiful woman standing in front of me.

That first dress was silk, with no sleeves making her shoulders bare. The dress hugged her body perfectly. Since it was silk it was a bit loose on her waist but she looked mesmerizing.

"Wow, just wow," I said she smiled and went to try on the second dress.

The dress she was now wearing was rushed from everywhere huddling her curves perfectly. It was long sleeved which was transparent making her arms visible. The top of it was square-shaped. Everything about it was perfect.

"This one," I said while she looked at herself in the mirror.

"Baby you look amazing" I continued but she did not reply.

"Are you okay?" I asked again,

"I feel like these dresses are making me look fat." She said

"Princess, don't say that, your body is perfect, plus who the fuck said you look fat?" I said hugging her waist, kissing her neck gently then looking at our reflection in the mirror.

"I want to smash that mirror, but... you know... seven years of bad luck are...you know- bad" she spoke, as she said this I frowned, titling my head.

"Baby, maybe one day you can tell me about your problems with your body, I did realize you had quite some. But that day doesn't have to be today, I just wanted to let you know that you are perfect, amazing, and mind-blowing. You are mesmerizing. These dresses hugged your curves so perfectly that I thought I was going to faint. Plus a little skin on our bones will hurt no one. It's your body, it needs to be healthy, it's your home, it's what you see every day, and where your soul remains, learn to love it, baby, love it as much as I love you." I spoke and suddenly her face softened

"And for the mirror." I continued and left her side "fuck the seven years of bad luck, you bring me joy." I spoke and punched the mirror, breaking it.

Celestia took a step back, but then looked at me with tears in her eyes, I pulled her in for a kiss.

"I am going to get ready. See you in a bit beautiful." I said and left.
