~~ Sophia's POV ~~

"You girls are too kind, you seriously don't have to buy me all this stuff," I look at the girls as they kept walking around the store. I put down the bags by a chair and sat down. I sigh heavily, my feet are killing me from all this walking. Well, my shoes are pretty old.

"Chill, We got you, girl!" Jessica says throwing a peace sign with her fingers as she looks at me. I chuckle, she is like Jaime in some ways. They make an adorable couple.

"Plus! We love shopping and it's no biggie! You are familia now," Erin smiles at me and then keeps looking at the clothes on the rack.

"But I don't want you spending your money on me," I pout and sink into the chair.

"You're really insecure, Soph," Alysha gives me a sympathetic look. I sigh, I don't want them knowing about my problems with my mental issues and shit.

"Okay, fine," I fake a smile and get up. I start looking at some random clothes. I can feel the girls smiling as I finally decided to be okay with the fact that I was their charity case.

~~ Vic's POV ~~

"How does it feel bro!?" Mike says as he puts a can of paint into the basket.

"It's... unimaginable, man," I look at him and the others, "Like one minute you can be this guy who doesn't have the love of their life and is famous and loves the feeling of his fans screaming out their pain into the song as he jams on his guitar with his buddies by his side... Then the next he can be that guy at home alone, getting a phone call that he is a father. Life can change in a split second, I just wish I was there when she was born, from day one," I start pushing the cart.

"Don't beat yourself over that, man, It sucks that you did not get the chance to be there for your daughter when she was born; but you got her now, you can still get that father-daughter bond that they have in the cute chick-flick movies," Jaime says putting a hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah," I start looking at different stuff for girls rooms.

"Something bothering you?" Tony asks

"I just wish I knew what happened between her and her mother, I wish I knew her past. I want to know everything about my daughter and it just sucks that I didn't get to help her ride her first bike, the least I can do is know about her past."

"It takes time, Vic," he smiles, "Patience my young padwan!" Tony says laughing. I chuckle at his comment as we make our way to pay for the paint.

"Well, Mr. Fuentes you are now the father of a beautiful baby girl, well, your baby girl. You have to protect her and make sure no douchebags try to get into her pants and well you can't be an asshole dad and bring home sluts; My niece deserves better if you will be doing that," Mike says as he puts his elbow on my shoulder.

"Mike, I don't even do that. I am going to protect my girl from all the dangers in the world, gonna keep her locked in the attic with dolls and have her be daddy's little girl all her life," I look at Mike with a serious face.

"Wait, are you serious?" Tony asks

"No! well not the attic thing, but the protecting thing and not being an asshole dad, I was serious about," I say shaking Mike's elbow off my shoulder, "Not gonna let anything bad happen to my little girl," I say as I pay for the paint. Nothing will hurt her, not on my watch.
