~Jessica's POV~
"You want her to go back to school? But Vic.."
"Jessica, I know she started her period but she needs to go back to school.. Please?" I sigh in defeat
I look over to Sophia who was listening to music in her phone, I felt bad for her, she told me everything and I feel so happy that she trusts me with her whole life story and I promise I will not mess it up.
"Alright, I will tell her but if she hates me after this I will kill you, Fuentes," I smile
Vic laughs, "Thanks, Jessica! I have no idea what I would do without you or without any of the other girls!" he hangs up the phone.
I sigh, "I don't know either," I whisper as I put my phone away.
"What was that?" Sophia asks taking off her earphones.
"Oh, nothing... Hey, sweetheart, I hate to say this but you have to go back to school, your father won't let you skip school because of your period," I frown
She sighs, "I thought so, thanks for not telling him by the way," she smiles a bit
"No problem, sweetheart," I rub her back, "You ready to go? I'll drop you off."
She nods, "I guess I have to face everyone one day or another."
"That's the spirit," I smile and grab my keys.
We arrive at the school five minutes later, "If anyone bullies you, you know you can come to talk to me about it okay? I'm going to talk to Jaime when I get home so I am sorry if I don't answer my phone but I will try to answer as quickly as I can."
She smiles, "I understand, Jessica," she hugs me, "Tell me how he reacts so I know how to face him when I seem him."
I nod, "I will. Good luck, sweetie! I love you."
"I love you too, Jessica!" She closes the door and I watch her walk into the school hallways. I drive off, once I arrive at the house I see Jaime's car outside, Just my luck I thought as I got off my car after I park.
I walk inside the house, "Oh there you are! Where were you?" He asks as he kisses me
"I went to go drop off Sophia," I say as I sit down on the couch.
"Oh yeah. Vic told me she was here, Is she okay? I mean I know when you are on your period you are a bit moody and you're all like 'don't talk to me until I have my waffles' and you get very territorial-"
"She's not on her period," I cut him off as I chuckle on his impressions of me.
He stares at me, "What? Then why did you lie to Vic?"
"Because she asked me to, she told me something, Jaime. Something she hasn't even told her father yet and he should be like the first to know!"
He sits down beside me, "Please don't tell me she's pregnant..."
"What?! No! Oh my gosh is that really the first thing that came to your mind?!"
"Well, you said she wasn't on her period and it's something that Vic should be the first to know about and well... yeah."
I slap his shoulder playfully, "Jaime, this is serious."
"Okay, I'm sorry... What did she tell you?" He moves his body so he was facing me.
