~Sophia's POV~
I wake up to one of my mom's drug addict friends hovering over me.
I slap him. He freaks out and leaves.
My mom and I live in a two-story old house with her drug addict friends. It's a dirty house it is never clean. but it won't make a difference to clean it since it'll get dirty within seconds.
"Soph, I need you to go give some drugs to Jacob," My mom says handing me the drugs, "He'll be at the park," she says as she leaves my room.
I get up and get dressed in a long sleeve, black skinny jeans, and black converse. I go to where my mom told me to go and there was Jacob. Standing alone in a black hoodie, not at all suspicious.
I sneak him the drugs and he hands me the money and he leaves.
I count the money, four thousand dollars, I don't think she'll notice a bit missing. I go and buy myself a couple of long sleeve t-shirts and a pair of skinny jeans.
I throw the bags onto my balcony once I got home and then I walked inside, hand my mom the money and leave to my room.
"Sophia!!" my mom yells as she barges into my room. I give her a 'what' look. I haven't spoken in a couple of years, since every time I do speak it gets me in trouble so I thought if I don't speak it won't... I still get in trouble though.
"There are only three thousand and six hundred dollars here! There is suppose to be four thousand!" she says as she looks at me to explain.
I grab a piece of paper and pen and write, "I didn't think you would notice."
"Didn't think I wouldn't notice!? I fucking noticed!" she yells and leaves my room. I heard her yell something and then a few minutes later her boyfriend comes in.
"You fucked up this time," he says as he walks over to me and slaps me, I held my hand onto my cheek as he grabs his belt, "move your hand," he says as he swings his arm back. I did as I was told even though I didn't want to.
