### Transition to InternshipsAfter submitting the papers for internships, Shota Aizawa, sitting in the staff room, was surprised to see some of his students had already chosen their places of training. Among the names, he noticed Tenya Iida had chosen the Hosu City Hero Office. Shota thought there were better nominations available for Tenya but decided to respect his choice. The day for workplace field training finally arrived.
At the station, Shota Aizawa stood with his class, ready to escort them to their workplaces safely. "Remember, while you have your Hero costumes with you, do not wear them in public and make sure not to lose them. Mind your manners and good luck," he reminded his students.
As Tenya walked to his train, Izuku and Ochaco approached him. "Tenya, if you need someone to talk to, you can always talk to us. We're your friends," Izuku said, with Ochaco nodding in agreement.
Tenya replied with a forced smile, "I will." However, as he walked away, a scowl crossed his face, reflecting the turmoil within.
Meanwhile, a sleek black limousine pulled up to the station for Y/N. As Y/N stepped inside, they couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and curiosity about what awaited them at the X-Mansion.
The limousine ride was smooth and swift, taking them to the mansion at 1407 Graymalkin Lane, Salem Center, Westchester County, New York. The sprawling estate, known as the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning, or simply the X-Mansion, was an impressive sight.
The mansion, depicted as the private estate of Charles Francis Xavier, served as the base of operations and training site for the X-Men. It also functioned as an accredited private school for mutant children, teenagers, and sometimes older mutants. The address, known to many as a sanctuary for mutants, was a beacon of hope and education for those who sought to control their powers.
The X-Mansion's long history was filled with battles, rebuilds, and renovations. Despite its many trials, it remained a symbol of mutant resilience and unity. The mansion was home to several generations of X-Men and served as the headquarters for the X-Corporation.
Notable rooms included the Danger Room, a high-tech training area, and a room containing Cerebro, a device used by Professor X to locate and communicate with mutants worldwide. The Headmasters Office, belonging to Cyclops and Emma Frost, was located on the top floor. The mansion also featured a basketball court, popular among the students, and a hangar beneath it, housing many transportation vehicles, including the X-Men Blackbird.
In the middle of the main courtyard stood the Phoenix Memorial Statue, dedicated to the memory of Jean Grey. There was also a cemetery with memorials for deceased X-Men like Thunderbird and others, a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by many.
### Meeting the X-Men Faculty and Staff
Upon arrival, Y/N was greeted by none other than Wolverine, who, despite his recent resurrection, appeared relaxed and nonchalant. "Welcome to the X-Mansion, kid," he grumbled, barely looking up from his cigar. "The others will show you around."
Y/N's excitement was palpable as they began exploring the mansion. The first stop was the science lab, where Beast, the brilliant yet affable blue-furred scientist, conducted his experiments. "Ah, a new intern! Fascinating. We'll have to see what your skills are in the lab," Beast said, offering a warm handshake.
Next, Y/N met Nightcrawler, who was teaching a drama class. "Ah, willkommen! I hope you enjoy your time here. Perhaps you could join us for a performance sometime?" Nightcrawler suggested with a friendly smile.
In the library, Karma was busy overseeing the younger students. "Feel free to borrow any books. Knowledge is power, after all," she said, her eyes twinkling with wisdom.
Y/N also encountered Shadowcat, who taught computer science classes and acted as a student advisor. "If you need any help or just want to talk, my door is always open," she offered, her voice filled with kindness.
In the gym, Wolverine was in his element, teaching close-quarters combat. "I'll whip you into shape in no time. Just don't get too cocky," he growled, a hint of a smile on his face.
The day was filled with interactions with various staff members, each bringing their unique style and expertise to the table. Cyclops and Emma Frost, the headmasters, provided guidance on leadership and tactics, while Iceman and Gambit taught classes in mathematics, finance, and target practice, respectively.
### Exploring the Mansion
Throughout the day, Y/N's curiosity led them to explore more of the mansion. They marveled at the technology in the Danger Room, admired the serene beauty of the Phoenix Memorial Statue, and even peeked into the hangar, where the X-Men Blackbird was stored.
At every turn, there were surprises and new faces. From the lively basketball games to the quiet moments in the cemetery, the X-Mansion was a place of contrasts and rich history.
