The next day, most of Class 1-A, except for Katsuki and Shoto, made their way to the Kiyashi Ward Shopping Mall. It was a massive shopping center that catered to all their needs for the upcoming forest lodge trip. After arriving, the students quickly split up to buy their specific items, leaving Ochaco and Izuku alone.
"So, what are you planning on buying, Ochaco?" Izuku asked, trying to make conversation.
"Um, bug repellent," Ochaco replied, blushing as she looked at Izuku. "What about you?"
"Heavy wrist weights," Izuku said with a smile.
Ochaco's face turned even redder, and she suddenly ran off. "I'll catch up with you later, Izuku!" she called over her shoulder, feeling embarrassed about her growing crush on him.
Izuku sighed and continued shopping alone. As he walked through the mall, a hooded man approached him.
"Hey, aren't you that kid from the Sports Festival?" the man asked, his voice eerily familiar. "Can I get your autograph?"
Izuku broke into a sweat as the hooded man put an arm around his shoulders. "Uh, sure, I guess," he stammered.
The man tightened his grip, his four fingers pressing against Izuku's neck. "You really are something, kid. Surviving the Hero Killer and all."
Izuku's heart pounded in his chest. "Who are you?" he asked, trying to keep his voice steady.
The hooded man chuckled and removed his hood, revealing his face. "We met before, at the USJ," he said with a wicked smile. "I'm Tomura Shigaraki."
Izuku's eyes widened in horror. "Tomura Shigaraki..."
"Come on, let's have a little chat," Tomura said, guiding Izuku to a nearby plaza. "I promise I won't hurt you. Much."
A few minutes earlier, Y/N had been texting Bakugo, trying to convince him to join the shopping trip.
"Come on, Kacchan. It'll be fun," Y/N texted. "We can grab what we need and then hang out."
"Why the hell would I wanna do that?and stop calling me that god damn stupid ass name!" Bakugo replied.
"Because I'm the only person who can tolerate you, and you know it," Y/N shot back with a smirk.
"Fine. But if it sucks, I'm blaming you," Bakugo agreed reluctantly.
They met up at the mall, and Y/N immediately started teasing Bakugo. "So, Kacchan, what are you looking to buy? Anger management classes?"
"Shut up, you idiot," Bakugo grumbled, but there was a hint of a smile on his face. "I need some new workout gear and snacks for the trip."
They wandered through the mall, trading insults and jokes.
"You know, for someone who's always angry, you're surprisingly good at shopping," Y/N said with a grin.
"Yeah, well, for someone who's always running their mouth, you're surprisingly not dead yet," Bakugo retorted.
They both laughed, grabbing the items they needed. Y/N got some new gloves and wristbands, while Bakugo loaded up on protein bars and energy drinks. As they were about to leave, they noticed the commotion in the plaza.
"Isn't that Deku?" Bakugo asked, frowning.
"Yeah, and that's Shigaraki," Y/N said, eyes narrowing. "Stay here. I need to go to the bathroom real quick ."
Bakugo just shrugged and walked away, not wanting to get involved. Y/N quickly changed into their Deadpool outfit, throwing a hoodie and hat on top to cover their face/mask. They approached the scene, watching as Shigaraki threatened Izuku.
"Hey, Shigaraki!" Y/N called out, their voice dripping with sarcasm. "You look like you could use a manicure. Those hands are filthy."
Shigaraki turned, sneering. "Who the hell are you supposed to be?"
"Just your friendly neighborhood Deadpool," Y/N said with a grin. "And you, my friend, are in for a world of hurt."
Shigaraki lunged at Y/N, trying to disintegrate them with his touch. But even with all five fingers, nothing happened.
"Surprise, surprise!" Y/N taunted. "Healing factor, baby. You can't kill me that easily."
Izuku was shaking, sweat pouring down his face as he watched the confrontation. "Deadpool, no!"
"Relax, kid," Y/N said, leaning back casually. "I've got this."
Shigaraki snarled in frustration. "Why won't you just die?!"
"Oh, come on. Can't you see I'm having fun here?" Y/N quipped. "Besides, you really need to work on your people skills. Ever heard of personal space?"
"Why you little—" Shigaraki growled, trying again to grab Y/N.
"Hold on, hold on," Y/N interrupted, putting up a hand. "Are we seriously doing this in front of all these innocent people? What would your mother think?"
"Shut up!" Shigaraki snapped, clearly agitated.
"Okay, okay, jeez," Y/N said, rolling their eyes. "But seriously, buddy, you need a new hobby. How about knitting? Or pottery? Something less... murder-y."
Ochaco finally arrived, eyes wide. "Deadpool is that you?!,what are you doing?!"
"Just making a new friend," Y/N said with a shrug. "But this guy doesn't seem to like me very much."
Shigaraki let go of Izuku, glaring at Y/N. "You're lucky I'm in a good mood. But next time, you won't be so fortunate."
"Yeah, yeah, keep dreaming," Y/N said, making a face. "Now get lost before I really embarrass you."
Shigaraki disappeared into the crowd just as the police arrived. Y/N quickly changed back into their normal clothes and went to pick up their items.
Later, at Y/N's place, they and Bakugo played video games, the events of the day still fresh in their minds.
"You're really something, you know that?" Bakugo said, his voice unusually soft.
"Yeah, well, someone's gotta keep things interesting," Y/N replied with a laugh. "Besides, it's not like I can die or anything."
Bakugo snorted. "Just don't go getting yourself killed, dumbass."
"Wouldn't dream of it," Y/N said, grinning. "Now, let's see if you can actually beat me this time."
As they played, the tension of the day slowly melted away, replaced by the familiar comfort of friendly rivalry and shared laughter.
