The world around Y/N was dark, almost suffocating. The memories of the last few minutes flickered in their mind like a badly edited film reel: the rush of adrenaline as they fought Mr. Compress, the satisfying moment when they had the marbles containing Bakugo and Tokoyami in their grasp, the gut-wrenching shock as Mr. Compress managed to free the marbles from their hold, and the sharp, searing pain as they were knocked back by a force too strong to resist. But even in the haze of pain, one thing had been crystal clear: Bakugo needed to be saved. Without a second thought, Y/N had pushed him out of harm's way, taking their place in Dabi's arms instead.

Now, they were here. Wherever here was.

As Y/N's vision cleared, the first thing they noticed was the cold. The floor beneath them was hard and unforgiving, a far cry from the soft, comforting grounds of U.A. The walls around them were a dingy gray, with cracks running along them like veins, and the air was thick with the stench of dampness and something else—something metallic and sharp, like blood. The only source of light came from a single, flickering bulb hanging from the ceiling, casting long, eerie shadows that seemed to dance in the corners of the room.

Y/N tried to move, but their limbs felt heavy, almost sluggish. Their mind, however, was racing, trying to piece together what had happened and where they were now. They remembered Dabi's arms around them, the intense heat radiating from his body, and then...nothing. They must have blacked out at some point during the teleportation, but for how long? And more importantly, what had happened since then?

A noise from the far end of the room caught their attention. Y/N strained their eyes to see through the dim light and noticed a figure leaning against the wall, half-hidden in shadow. As the figure stepped forward, the light revealed the familiar blue flames that danced along Dabi's skin, casting an ominous glow.

"So, you're finally awake," Dabi's voice was low, almost amused. "I was starting to think you were going to sleep through the whole thing."

Y/N tried to push themselves up, but their body protested with a sharp pain that shot through their side. They winced, gritting their teeth to keep from crying out. Dabi watched them with a detached curiosity, his eyes scanning them as if trying to determine just how much fight they had left in them.

"What do you want?" Y/N managed to ask, their voice hoarse.

Dabi tilted his head slightly, a smirk playing on his lips. "You're a smart one. You should know by now that it's not about what we want—it's about what you can offer."

Y/N narrowed their eyes, trying to ignore the throbbing pain in their side. "You think I'm just going to give you what you want? You've got another thing coming."

Dabi chuckled, a sound that sent chills down Y/N's spine. "I don't expect you to give up anything willingly. That would be too easy. But everyone has a breaking point, and it's just a matter of time before we find yours."
