Y/N slumped into the control room chair, the faint hum of machinery a comforting backdrop to the whirlwind of thoughts in their head. They'd barely passed the written test—a result that didn't come as a shock, considering they'd initially handed in an empty sheet. But the practical? That had been a different story. Y/N had aced it with flying colors, their combat skills honed by years of mercenary work showing through."Just another day in the life of your friendly neighborhood Deadpool," Y/N muttered, adjusting their mask with a wry grin. They had a retake scheduled for later that day, but for now, they were basking in the aftermath of the practical test victory.
Suddenly, the phone buzzed on the desk, an ominous sign of incoming trouble. Y/N picked it up, and the voice of their handler, a gruff and no-nonsense operative, crackled through the line.
"Y/N, we've got intel from our rat within the League of Villains. Today's events weren't as straightforward as they seemed."
"Oh, do tell," Y/N replied, their tone dripping with sarcasm. "I'm all ears."
"The League of Villains has been active. Tomura Shigaraki received two visitors today—potential recruits. One's a girl, Himiko Toga, suspected of serial blood-draining murders. The other, a boy who calls himself Dabi. He claims to follow the Hero Killer's ideals."
Y/N's playful demeanor shifted to one of serious attention. "Interesting lineup. What's their story?"
"The girl, Toga, wants to make the world an easier place to live in, idolizing Stain. Dabi hasn't committed any major crimes yet but shares Stain's beliefs. Shigaraki wasn't happy about their fixation on Stain. Things got tense, and a fight nearly broke out, but Kurogiri intervened."
Y/N leaned forward, the gravity of the situation sinking in. "And the League's response?"
"Kurogiri persuaded Shigaraki to consider their help. Expanding the League is crucial now that they're in the spotlight. They're likely to accept Toga and Dabi soon."
"Got it," Y/N said, their mind racing. "Thanks for the heads-up. Keep me posted."
The handler's voice softened slightly. "Stay sharp, Y/N. This is just the beginning."
The call ended, leaving Y/N with a lot to process. The League of Villains' expansion was a troubling development. Y/N would have to keep a close eye on these new players.
The next day, Y/N headed to class, their usual swagger masking the seriousness of the previous night's intel. They sauntered in just as Aizawa entered, his presence commanding the room. The students, especially those who had failed, were anxious to hear the results.
Denki, Eijiro, Rikido, and Mina looked crestfallen, their expressions a mix of disappointment and worry. The atmosphere was thick with anticipation as Aizawa prepared to address the class.
"Can you believe we almost had to deal with those damn robots?" Bakugo muttered, leaning back in his chair. "What a joke."
"Yeah, but fighting the teachers was a whole new level," Kirishima added, his usual cheer slightly dampened by his disappointment. "I can't believe I didn't pass."
Aizawa cleared his throat, drawing everyone's attention. "Some of you failed, and as a result, all of you are going to the forest lodge."
The class erupted in surprised chatter. "Wait, what?!" Denki exclaimed, his eyes wide. "But we failed!"
"Yeah, what's going on?" Mina asked, her pink cheeks flushed with confusion.
Aizawa's stern gaze silenced them. "The consequences for failing the practical test were a logical ruse to bring out your full potential. No one failed the written test, but Denki, Eijiro, Rikido, Mina, and Hanta failed the practical test."
He let the information sink in before continuing. "The forest lodge trip is a boot camp. Those who failed the practical test will receive harsher training at the lodge."
The news was met with a mixture of relief and apprehension. The students who had failed were visibly shaken, but there was a sense of solidarity in knowing they would all still be together.
Y/N couldn't resist chiming in. "Well, looks like we're all in this together, folks. Even the ones who barely scraped by." They winked, earning a few chuckles and groans from the class.
Bakugo rolled his eyes. "You barely passed yourself, smartass. Don't get too cocky."
"True, true," Y/N replied with a smirk. "But I did pass the practical with flying colors, so I've got that going for me."
"Lucky you," Jiro muttered, shaking her head. "Wish we all had a healing factor and years of combat training under our belts."
"Oh, don't be jealous," Y/N teased. "You'll get there. Just keep practicing those sick beats."
As the class settled back into their seats, Aizawa handed out the lodge guides. "You'll find a list of items you'll need for the trip. Make sure you're fully prepared."
The students quickly scanned the lists, murmuring among themselves about the various items. "There's so much stuff we need," Toru observed, her voice echoing slightly in the excitement of the moment. "We should go shopping together to get everything."
"Great idea!" Mina agreed, her earlier disappointment giving way to enthusiasm. "It'll be like a big Class 1-A outing! and plus i love shopping!!!!"
"Yeah, let's all go," Kirishima said, his mood visibly lifting. "We can help each other find what we need and make sure we're all set for the trip."
As the plans were made, the room buzzed with energy and excitement. The students were already discussing where to go and what to buy, their earlier concerns momentarily forgotten.
Y/N couldn't help but grin at the scene. "A shopping trip, huh? Sounds like a blast. Just imagine the chaos we can cause."
"Please don't cause any chaos," Iida interjected, his tone serious but tinged with amusement. "We need to be responsible and make sure we get everything on the list."
"Oh, Iida, you're such a killjoy," Y/N teased, clapping him on the back. "But don't worry, we'll keep it under control. Mostly."
As the class laughed and joked, the camaraderie and determination to succeed were evident. Despite the setbacks, they were ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
As the students filtered out of the classroom, chatting excitedly about their upcoming trip, Y/N lingered behind, a thoughtful expression on their face. The League of Villains' activities loomed large in their mind, but for now, they pushed those concerns aside. There would be time to deal with that later.
For now, they had a forest lodge trip to prepare for, and if there was one thing Y/N was good at, it was facing challenges head-on with a smile and a quip.
With a renewed sense of purpose and a hint of mischief in their eyes, Y/N joined their classmates, ready to make the most of the upcoming adventure. And who knew? Maybe they'd find a way to make the boot camp experience even more memorable—with a bit of Deadpool flair, of course.
